It's been a few days since we started living in the slums and I'd have to say it's not as bad as I thought it was. Apparently when Korra first entered the city she met a crazy homeless person who helped her out a bit and now he's hiding us with all the other homeless people. He states that everyone down here are both benders and non benders yet they all live peacefully so they don't believe in what the equalists are doing so that helps us out since nobody wants to turn us in. Meanwhile Korra and Mako have been disguising themselves as Equalists to try and gather more information on what's happening above. Today was also the day that the General Iroh of the United Forces was supposed to arrive in order to help us take back the city from Amon. We sat outside one of the sewer gates waiting for them to arrive so we could quickly jump into the action. We waited for a few hours until I saw something looming in the distance.

Me: "Look they're here!" Three giant Battleships cut through the fog into the harbor and got into ready positions probably so they can set up a boarding party. But something was wrong there were no Mechs or any Equalists anywhere near the harbor. "Something's wrong where is everyone?" As soon as I opened my mouth I heard something in the distance, it sounded a lot like buzzing and it was getting louder by the second. Then four small aircrafts came into view over the city and I heard Asami gasp.

Asami: "Looks like my father finished his latest invention it's a biplane he was going to use it to deliver across the world faster than an airship." The bottom of the plane opened up and started dropping some sort of cylinders into the water, once it hit the water it started moving towards the ships once it reached them they exploded rocking the ships due to the impact.

Me: "This is bad they're sitting ducks out there." That's when Korra jumped into the water and propelled herself to the fleet in order to help them. After a few minutes the fleet was completely destroyed by the planes, as they turned back towards the city I noticed they went more behind the mountains which must mean that's where the airfield is. Soon after Korra appeared with General Iroh in her arms we helped them up and brought him back to the slums so Korra could heal his injured shoulder.

Iroh: "I was prepared to deal with Sato's Mecha Tanks but not these new high speed aircrafts."

Korra: "Everytime we think we have and advantage Amon outsmarts us."

Bolin: "No matter what our plan is he always has a better one."

Iroh: "Amon is winning so far but we're not out of the fight yet." We all perked up a little at this.

Bolin: "I like this man's confidence.... So how are we not out of the fight yet?"

Iroh: "A second wave of reinforcements is on the way but I need to warn them about what happened, do you have a way that I can contact them?" we took him to our special homeless friend so he could send Commander Bumi a message to wait until we take out the airfield so that his ships can safely enter Republic City once that was done we had to come up with a plan but Korra seemed hesitant.

Korra: "Wait i'm sorry but I'm not going with you tomorrow."

Me: "What do you mean?"

Korra: "I'm sick and tired of hiding from Amon I think it's finally time I face him." We all looked hesitant on her new decision but she just shook her head. "I'm sorry but it's just that my gut is telling me I have to end this, and that it has to be on my terms." I nodded knowing she was in the right place then Mako stepped up to her.

Mako: "If that's your decision then I'm coming with you." she seemed a little relieved at this but didn't show it and now we had a new plan, Korra and Mako would go and take out Amon while Bolin, Iroh, Asami and I would go and take out the airfield. That night I took Korra a little ways away from the others.
