It's been six months since I moved down to the south and frankly... it's pretty amazing. I spend pretty much all of my time with Korra going to all of her recovery sessions as I would just train in the other room. I'm now able to use my new arm to its full capacity and Olivia has been happily helping me train with it, she says it makes her stronger since she's the one getting hit by it all the time. Speaking of Olivia she's been doing exceptionally well with her training with Katara and has learned many other techniques with her waterbending which makes me happy I feel that she beats herself up on what happened to me but I always reassure her that she had nothing to do with it. We've also received some letters from the gang, Asami has signed a new deal with President Raiko on constructing new roads to work around the spirit vines, Mako is well just Mako nothing too exciting has happened with him while Bolin has joined with a woman named Kuvira who is apparently trying to fix the Earth Kingdom after everything went down, I just hope it doesn't turn into a problem since she apparently seceded from Zaofu to get her way. Today I decided to watch Korra's walking exercise she's been trying her best but sadly she still can't move more than a few steps.

Katara: "Whenever you're ready." She just sighed in frustration, here we go.

Korra: "What's the point we've been at this for six months and I can only take a couple of steps without collapsing."

Katara: "I know you're frustrated but-"

Korra: "OF COURSE I'M FRUSTRATED a crazy man poisoned me and now I can't dress myself or cook for myself or do anything for myself and all this time my friends are off helping the world while I'm stuck with you and you can't even heal me!" She looked away sadly and Katara and I gave each other a small look before she nodded at me as she got up to leave the room. I walked over to Korra and wiped the tears off her face gently.

Me: "Hey it's ok let it all out it helps with the healing process trust me." She just sighed a bit.

Korra: "I shouldn't have said that I'm just so confused as to why this happened to me and I'm frustrated that no matter how hard I try I can't seem to heal myself." I smiled sadly stepping back a little.

Me: "You think you're the only person to go through something like this? I had my arm blown off and to be honest with you I hate looking at this damned thing." She looked back up at me confused. "Everyday I look at this thing it only reminds me of my weakness and how I couldn't be strong enough to protect you that day... but I'll be damned if I'm going to let this stop me from growing stronger so let me ask you Korra what is it you want to protect?" She looked at me thinking for a moment.

Korra: "I want to protect you and to protect my family, the Air Nation and the whole world from darkness." I smirked at her.

Me: "Now what are you going to do about that stay in that chair all day or walk to Naga right now and show me how strong you can become." Her face turned serious now as she pushed herself over to the railings grabbing hold of them. Katara walked back in and I just gestured her to Korra as she pulled herself up breathing heavily as she took her first step, then her second and third until she slowly walked her way over to Naga before collapsing on top of her crying tears of joy. I smiled and walked back over to her as she threw her arms around me. "See things just take time my dear but you have shown me today that you can do this and you'll become even stronger when it's over." She nodded and kissed me softly.

Korra: "Thank you for being here for always being here." I smiled picking her back up and placing her in her chair. We said our goodbyes to Katara as we made our way back home only to find a very concerned Senna and Kya. "Mom you wouldn't believe it I actually walked today." Senna smiled warmly but I could still sense something was wrong.

Senna: "That's wonderful sweetie I'm so happy to hear that." I looked at Senna then Kya... something was off.

Me: "Did something happen you guys look sad almost." They looked at each other for a moment before turning back to me.
