Dear Logan,
I don't really know how to begin an email to someone I haven't spoken to in almost five years, so I'll just skip to my reason for writing.
I'm seeing someone and although we haven't been dating long, I think this is it for me. He's great with Beth and she thinks the world of him. And I thought you should know because there is a empty spot in your daughters life and someone else is ready to fill it.
I won't say I understand if you continue to choose not to be in her life Logan, because I don't. I will says that it is Okay. But before you decide, you should know that she is wonderful, beautiful, smart, and kind. She has your blonde hair and your love of grand gestures.
I also want you to know that I will never keep her from you, but if you want in, you have to be all in. I won't let her grow up not knowing when or if her father will be there for her.
