Slappy growled at the competition. He raised a wooden finger and pointed at my people. "Charge!" he commanded to his friends. The monsters did what they were told and charged. They then began to fight my "Non-Fiends."

The monsters who were holding Shivers, Hannah, Zach, and Champ immediately let go of them and joined in on the fighting fest.

"You imbeciles!" the puppet yelled. "You were not supposed to unhand the humans!" He finally broke free from my caretaker's grasp and tightened his grip on the knife. He glared at her. "This is your fault, human!" He lunged at her, but Cassandra quickly reacted and punched him. The puppet cried out and fell down.

"How dumb do you think I am?" Cassandra told him. "And no. I am not human." She grabbed the knife and put it in her pocket. "I am a human "Non-Fiend" and proud to be one." She whistled. "Margie!"

Margie hurried over. She was carrying a crossbow. "Yes, Cassandra?" she said.

"Watch this dummy. Make sure that he does not get away."

"Okay." She looked at the puppet and gasped. "Oh my gosh! Is that Slappy?"

Cassandra sighed. "Yes."

She jumped up and down. "Oh my gosh! It is him and not Voldemort from Harry Potter!" She sat by him and took out a piece of paper and pen. "Slappy, can I have your autograph? You are my favorite villain. Way better than Voldemort."

"I heard that!" Margie's sister, Scarlett, shouted.

My caretaker rolled her eyes and went to the group of humans. She stared at Shivers.

Shivers slowly tilted his head back up and noticed her. He played with a ring on his finger.

"You idiot," Cassandra said to him.

"Hey! My dad is not an idiot!" Hannah defended her father, frowning.

"He is if he cannot keep his monsters under control and in a manuscript." She brushed her hair back. "So where is it?"

"T-the manuscript?" Shivers stuttered.

"Yes! What else would I be talking about?"

He rubbed his arm. "I...I do not have it."

"What?!"

"I-I mean...I do have it..." He took out a manuscript. "...but it is a new one. Slappy...Slappy burned the other one."

Cassandra threw her hands in the air. "Figures!"

Shivers took a step towards her. "Cassandra, it will be alright. All we need is for somebody who is creative and has excellent writing skills to write the ending."

Huh. That sounded like me. I like writing fanfictions and my own stories. And I am really creative.

"And why can you not write the ending?"

"Because..." He held up his hands. His hands were covered with black fabric, and there was blood showing through the fabrics. "...Slappy broke my hands while I was typing. Again."

"Again?!" She ran a hand through her hair. "You see? This is why we broke up, Stine!"

I gasped.
