"Oh...where in the world am I?"
I slowly opened my eyes, staring up at the starry, night sky. I suddenly realized that I was lying on my back. I tried to get up, but all my muscles ached severely. I gently rubbed both of my hands on the hard ground.
Pavement. It felt like pavement on the road.
I was lying in the middle of the road!
"What the heck happened?" I asked myself, trying to regain my thoughts. "I was in the car with my parents, and ---"
Then I remembered. I remembered so clearly.
I was in the Fandom world when I heard my mom scream in agony. My dad yelled back at her.
I tried to remember what they said, but I couldn't.
I remembered being so frightened when I was trying to ask them what was going on. After that, all I saw was blackness.
Hold on.
I remember hearing a crash! sound before everything went into complete darkness.
"Mom! Dad!"
I carefully lifted my head off the ground. "Mom! Dad!" I called out again.
No response. The only sound was the wind ruffling the trees that surrounded me. I turned my head a little.
"No. Oh, gosh. No."
My parents' car.
Our car was lying on the side of the road upside down, completely destroyed.
"Mom! Dad! Anyone, please! Answer me! I need help!"
All of a sudden, I heard a noise.
In the woods. Low whispers.
A shadow loomed over me. My muscles tightened. I felt as if I was in a Goosebumps book. I know that I said that I love scary things, but this...
...this is real.
The mysterious figure bent down to my level. "Are you okay?" it asked. The figure sounded like a young man, but with a high-pitched voice.
I had trouble speaking. The muscles in my mouth hurt so bad. "Y-yes," I choked out.
I felt the figure rub his fingers down my arms. "This is surprising. In fact, it is a miracle!" the young man exclaimed happily. "You have no scrapes or bruises. You survived that deadly accident."
Accident?
