Part 2 to That wasn't so hard was it Jones
----------Betty's POV----------
One month. It has been one month since this monster took me. I don't know who it is or what he, she, it wants from me but whatever it is they must really hate me for it.
"Betty to the basement. NOW!" the loudspeaker in the room where I was held said.
I quickly got off my bed and walked out of my room. I tried disobeying this monster once. It didn't feed me for four days and to top it all of it came and beat me everyday. I opened the door to the basement and just stood there I couldn't go down there it was to dark and I didn't want to find out what was on the bottom of those steps.
"Come here Betty. It's time for the face reveal" a women's voice called out.
I walked down and saw a blond haired women there standing with a devious smirk on her face.
"Who are you" I asked her with my voice shaking.
"The snake charmer, or as your dumbass boyfriend may have mentioned, Penny Peabody" she smiled
I froze. This was her. The one that Jughead wanted to protect me from.
"Now Betty, you thought Jughead could really protect you from me" she scoffed "Please, when I want something I get it"
"What do you want from me" I looked down not wanting to look at her face "I haven't even met you before"
"Oh sweetie" She said walking over to me and grabbing my face forcing me to look at her "When I get revenge I don't go after that person, I go after the one person that they love the most. And Jughead" she laughed "That boy cost me everything. So now I'm going to take his everything away from him" she finally let go of my face "Now go to your room" she ordered "We have a long day tomorrow"
I didn't want to argue with her so I did as I was told. Once I got to my room I burst into tears.
"Juggie where are you" I whispered to myself over and over again crying my eyes out.
----------Jughead's POV----------
One month. I have no idea where Betty is. I'm losing my mind without her. There has been no sign of her. I know she wouldn't just run off without telling anyone, but no one knows where she is. Her mother is a mess, I go over everyday, but she does nothing just cries. Can't blame her, that's what I do when I'm alone too. I'm interrupted by my thoughts by my phone. I look over not even looking at who's calling
"What" I answer with anger in my voice.
"Jug, It's Betty" Kevin says on the other side of the phone. I quickly stood up at the sound of her name
"What about her? Is she ok" I asked him
"We haven't found her yet, but I overheard my dad talking on the phone saying that they found her purse going into Fox Forest" he said
"Did the find her" I questioned
"No, sorry Jughead" he answered with sadness in his voice "But we can go look around in the woods and see if we can find her" he suggested
"Ok Kev, I'll meet you at the bridge" I said and hung up grabbing my Serpent jacket and going out the door.
Once I got to the bridge, Kevin was already waiting for me there with a flashlight in his hand.
"Come on Jug, let's go" he said as soon as I got there.
We started to walk into the woods trying to look for anything that belonged to Betty, but there was nothing but trees and other plants.
"Jug. Hold up" Kevin stopped
I turned around and saw him pick up a necklace with the letter J. The necklace that I gave her.
"This is her's. I-" I was cut off by an alarm going off.
"Do you hear that" I asked Kevin
He nodded running towards the sound with me close behind him.
We both stopped as we heard a scream.
----------Betty's POV----------
After hours of crying, I heard the generator of the camera turn off. Something that happens everyday. The only problem is that it's only off for 90 seconds. I have run in every direction trying to find a way out, but I only came to a sealed vault and to this garden like place with an electric fence around it. I was determined to make it out this time. I ran in the direction of the room with the vault and tried to open it but it wouldn't budge. Then the alarm started to go off.
"Damn it" I muttered. This was not good. Last time I got caught trying to escape I got beaten.
I looked over and saw an air vent. I figured it was the only way out, so I went towards it and started to crawl through it. The air vent led me to a different room, one that I had never seen the whole time I was here. I heard the door open. I turned around and saw Penny standing there with a knife in her hand
"Now where do you think you're going" she said walking towards me "You disobeyed again"
I started walking backwards hoping to get away from her but my back only met the wall making me cornered.
"I told you. The second time would be worst" she said holding the knife up
"No, please. I'm begging you please don't do this" I cried
"Hold still and maybe I'll go easy on you" she said with a smirk
She came towards me and grabbed my hand forcefully putting the knife against it. I started to scream at the sudden pain. I couldn't take this so with my other hand, I took the knife away from her and jabbed it into her left leg. She yelled out in pain but I didn't care, I started to run towards the door opening it to reveal a hallway. I ran wanting to get the hell out of here. I came to some stairs. I started to climb up to see a wooden door. I wanted to open it but something was blocking it on the other side. This can't be happening. I started pounding on the door hoping someone would hear me.
----------Jughead's POV---------
"Jughead I don't have signal here. I can't call my dad" Kevin said
"Then go somewhere where you can find him I have to go look for Betty" I said
He nodded running off. I turned around trying to follow the alarm that was still going off. I came to a shed that was underground so only the wooden door was showing. As I approached it I heard banging on the other side of the door
"Betty are you in there" I screamed hoping she would here me. I started to open the door but it was too hard
"Jug is that you" I heard Betty's voice say
I sighed in relief "Yeah Betts it's me. I'm going to get you out of there don't worry"
I heard police sirens coming. Oh thank god they came quick. I pulled the door with a lot of force causing it to swing open. I saw Betty come running out. I quickly rushed over to her and pulled her into a hug, never wanting to let go of her. She started to cry into my shoulder
"It's ok Betts, It's ok, I got you. I got you Juliet" I comforted her.
Sheriff Keller came with other deputies and they rushed into the shed. They soon came out with Penny in handcuffs. She gave me a devious smirk as she walked past me. I just rolled my eyes at her even though I wanted to rip her apart for what she did to Betty, but I controlled myself.
Betty pulled away from the hug. I looked at her with confusion on my face
"Don't ever let me go" was all she said
"Never"
