Jughead and I broke up two days ago. Like any other guy, guess what he said, it's not you its me. Then he just left. I haven't left my room for two days. I'm afraid that if I do go out I'll see him and fall in love with him again, I couldn't afford another heartbreak. I don't have to keep waiting for long, school's over in a month, then I'm finally out of this town and away from him. And with prom coming up, Veronica has not left me alone saying to go dress shopping with her. I don't even know what's the point of going if I won't go with anybody. I remember Jughead always said he was going to ask me to prom in the most romantic way ever.

"Juggie would you want to go to prom" I asked him
" well it's not really my scene" he started, but as soon as he saw my face drop he continued " but for you of course I'll go" he smiled
"So how are you going to ask me" I questioned
"Betts I'm not going to tell you, but I'll have you know that it's going to be the most romantic thing ever" he answered.
"Promise?"
"I promise Juliet" he smiled giving me a kiss

Now that we broke up I'll never know what he was planning on doing. Anyways back to today. I'm finally going back to school, dreading to see him but I knew I had to. I got up and got dresses and walked there. It was third period, Biology, the class before lunch. I have this class with Jughead but he's not here. That's weird, I thought Jughead never misses school. Well a relief for me because I didn't want to see him anyways. Lunch came and I sat with Toni, Cheryl, and Veronica. Suddenly Kevin came running
"Guys come on this is going to be the cutest prom-posal ever"
They all got up running toward the quad, I just say there not wanting to watch some couple be happy while I feel like dying in a hole.
"Come on B lets go" Veronica said dragging, me along with her.
Once we got there, the song Rewrite the Stars started playing. I could feel my eyes star tearing up since Jughead and I used to call this our song

Fangs came up to me and handed me another microphone, so ibises he wanted me to sing with him, but I didn't have to pretend because it was all true.

As we finished singing I was already near Jughead, foreheads touching.
"Will the most beautiful girl give me a chance to take her to prom" he asked
I was shocked but in that moment I couldn't imagine my life without him
"Yes" I answered smiling
Finally, we kissed. It was like our first kiss all energetic. And just perfect.
