One year.
It had been one year since Betty and Jughead had seen each other. Jughead went to school somewhere near Seattle. Betty went to NYU. They had managed to keep the long distance relationship. They had last seen each other last summer. It was too much for them to handle. Jughead waited for his girlfriend's arrival, he waited for them at their spot. Some abandoned park, where they had their first date, first kiss, first I love you. It was very special.
Jughead waited for her. Betty's flight landed an hour ago, but she had texted him telling him that she was going to drop her stuff off at her house then come there. He couldn't wait to see her. His heart was beating really fast.
"Betty" her mom exclaimed when she walked through the door.
"Hey mom" Betty greeted giving her a hug. "I've missed you"
"Me too dear" Alice answered pulling away. "Off to meet Jughead"
"Yeah. I'm so excited I haven't seen him for over a year" Betty said smiling widely.
"Ok go! We can catch up later" Alice said urging her out "oh and please be safe"
"Mom" Betty said with wide eyes "I think we're old enough"
"Whatever just please"
Betty rolled her eyes and walked out heading towards the park. Almost, she thought. This is the moment she had been waiting for.
As she got closer to the park she saw Jughead sitting in one of the swings. She smiled at the sight of him. He no longer had his beanie on, his black hair flowing with the hot summer air.
"Hey Juggie" she said
Jughead quickly got up and turned around. He had the biggest smile on his face. Betty ran up to him, he picked her up as she wrapped her legs around his waist. They both leaned into a long passionate kiss that they had both been craving for.
Jughead's hands held her up as she ran her fingers against his hair. She moaned slightly into the kiss. Sadly they had to pull away since they were running out of breath. Jughead gently set her down and pulled her into a hug.
"God I've missed you" he sighed as he buried his face into the crook of her neck.
"I've missed you too Juggie" Betty whispered only for the two of them to hear. "I love you so much"
"I love you so much Juliet"
Idk what this is. I just thought it was cute.
