{General POV}
Jughead and Betty couldn't help but cry the entire night after they found out their daughter Savannah had a crucial heart disease.
Ever since she was five Savannah would talk about how much she wanted a sweet sixteen with her big puffy dress. It broke both their hearts when they found out she would not be alive to see that. The worst thing was that Savannah was aware and she had given up on her life.
Unless they had found a heart donor by the end of that week, Juliet would die, never getting the party of her dreams.
"It's the only way baby" Jughead said trying to comfort Betty
"No Jug, I love her, but we can't do this" Betty shook her head
"I'm sorry beautiful but I have to do this" Jughead told her

"Are you sure" Savannah's doctor asked the couple
"We're sure Dr. Jareau" Jughead answered giving Betty's hand a reassuring squeeze
"Ok, I've set the appointment and we're going to have the surgery for Savannah on Friday" Dr. Jareau told them
"Thank you" Jughead thanked the doctor and walked out with Betty behind him

"So Savannah what color dress would you like for your party" Betty asked when they came home from the doctor's office
"There's no point, I'm not going to be alive for my birthday" Savannah said with disappointment
"Yes you are you got a heart donor today"Jughead said
Savannah turned and faced her parents "Are you serious"
They both nodded seeing their daughter smile for the first time in weeks made them glad.
Savannah screamed hugging both her parents

"Hello Savannah" Dr. Jareau greeted as she walked through her office doors
"Hey JJ" Savannah smiled
"you seem happy" The doctor told her
"Yeah after today I finally get to live" Savannah smiled
Dr, Jareau gave her a weak smile "Yeah, you're lucky"
"It's time, come on sweetie" Betty told her
"where's Daddy" Savannah asked
"He had to go on a business trip, sorry babe" Betty said with a weak smile
"Ok, love you mom" Savannah said giving her mother a hug

"did it work" Betty asked the doctor
"It did, she's in recovery you can go in and see her now if you'd like" Jennifer told her
"Thank you" Betty smiled

"So today's the big day" Betty smiled as she saw Savannah come down with her dress on the day of her sweet sixteen party
"Thank you so much mom" Savannah smiled giving Betty a hug
"come on girl let's go"Emily and Hanna, Savannah's two best friends, came in "The limo is already outside"
"Go I'll meet you guys there" Betty smiled as she watched her daughter walk out.

"Thank you so much mom, it was the best I just wish didn't have to miss it, what was so important that he couldn't come though" Savannah asked
"I have to give you something" Betty said handing her daughter a letter "It's your fathers gift"
Dear Savannah,
I can't believe you are already sixteen years old. If you are reading this your big party has already passed, I hope you had fun, I'm sorry I had to miss it. You're mother will answer any other questions that you have after I tell you this. You wanted your party, but you weren't going to live to see it, but you did. It was me baby, I was the heart donor. I know you will probably hate me for doing this, but I did cause I love you. Take care of your mom for me, and let her know that I love her. I love you both so much.

Savannah looked up at her mother who was silently crying.
"Mom tell me this isn't real" Savannah said
Betty looked up with her mascara running down her face nodding her head
Savannah started sobbing as Betty pulled her into a hug.

"I love you Betts" Jughead whispered to her as he held her
"I love you too Juggie" she cried "Please don't leave me"
"Just remember, you'll always have a part of me, ok" He told her kissing her forehead one last time.
