Part 2 for: It's been Seven Years
{General POV}
"Goodnight Daddy" Juliet said before sleeping
Jughead smiled and walked out of Juliet's bedroom, he saw Betty digging her nails into her palms. He rushed over to her and placed his hands over hers causing her to look up at him.
"Sorry" She mumbled
"It's okay" Jughead sat down in the couch next to her "How long has it been since you started doing it again"
Betty looked down at her palms again "Since we broke up"
Jughead sighed, "I have some explaining to do, I owe it to you"
"Yeah, starting with why you wanted to break up with me in the first place, you said you didn't want to live in New York, but now you do" Betty said
"About a year after you left, my mom called, Jellybean was sick, she had cancer. So I went to Toledo, she died three months after I got there"
Betty looked up at him "Jug, I'm so sorry" She reached over and held his hand, Jughead squeezed it as he continued.
"After her funeral, I went back to Riverdale. I spent every day and night drinking, I didn't want to live anymore. It wasn't until Fangs came back to Riverdale that I became sober again. I stayed with him for three years, we went traveling all over Europe. Then finally I decided to come to New York. I found my mom's sister, she needed help taking care of my little cousin since my uncle died, so I stayed in an apartment here to help her."
"Why didn't you try and find me" Betty said getting tears in her eyes
"I didn't think you wanted to see me, I'm so sorry Betts" Jughead apologized "I hope you can forgive me"
Betty nodded "Of course I can, but you have to promise me something"
"Anything" Jughead urged her to go on
"Just promise me you won't hurt Juliet. I can't have you leaving her and leaving me to pick up the pieces" Betty said
"I won't leave again" Jughead promised

Betty woke up at the pounding of the front door.
"Mommy, what is that" Juliet asked walking into Betty's room
"I don't know JJ, but stay here ok" Betty said getting up and going to answer the door.
"Hello Elizabeth" William said as Betty answered the door "Miss me?"
"William, What are you doing here" Betty asked with fear
"I missed you, and my precious daughter" William smiled as he saw Juliet appear
"She's not your daughter" Betty yelled
"Then who's the one who raised her" William yelled in her face "Her father left you, because you didn't know how to please him"
"You know nothing about me and Jughead" Betty said
"Mommy, why is he back" Juliet asked with tears in her eyes
Betty rushed over to Juliet and gave her a hug. "JJ, go to your room, if you hear me scream call Daddy, ok" She whispered into her ear. Juliet nodded and ran towards her room
"You think your so smart don't you? Calling the cops on me, making me spend two years in prison" William said walking towards her "You're paying for your mistake, tonight"
