I apologize in advance for this one

{General POV}

"Juliet you home yet" Jughead called out to

No answer. Jughead heard cries coming from his daughter's room, he quickly ran upstairs and found his daughter sobbing into her mother's old stuff animal

"JJ what's wrong" Jughead asked making Juliet look up

"Nothing daddy I'm fine" Juliet lied wiping her eyes

"Hey, we agreed no more secrets" Jughead reminded her rubbing her back

"This bitch at school told me that it was my fault that mom died, then she started calling me all these names" Juliet cried

"Why would she blame you, Betty died sixteen years ago" Jughead explained

"Yeah she died because she had me" Juliet said standing up and pacing around "Alison was right her death is my fault"

"Listen Juliet, your moms death is not your fault" Jughead started

"Ok so look me in the eyes and tell me you never resented me for mom's death" Juliet interrupted him

jughead stood up grabbing her shoulders calming her down, he was reminded how Betty used to calm down by him doing the same thing

"I don't blame you for your mom's death" He told Juliet

"Yeah that's just one thing, she keeps calling me a fat, ugly whore literally every time I see her" Juliet started crying again "And she's right I mean everyone else is so skinny, and then there's me"

Jughead knew it was rude but he chuckled a bit

"Daddy, it's not funny" Juliet cried

Jughead's face instantly turned serious "I know baby, it's just that you remind me of someone"

"Who" Juliet asked

"Your mom" Jughead said making Juliet turn around

"My mom was bullied" She asked in disbelief "She was so pretty though"

"Well, your aunt Cheryl used to call mom fat and ugly too" Jughead explained

"But aunt Cheryl is so kind now" Juliet questioned

"Trust me she wasn't always like that, but she did really change after your mom got pregnant, when I couldn't look after her she would" Jughead told her

"How did she get through it" Juliet asked

"She wasn't always so strong, trust me she would breakdown at least once a week, then something happened, and she changed, she was happier than ever" Jughead said

"What happened" She asked again

"You, I remember when she told me she was pregnant, her face glowed, she couldn't wait to meet you" Jughead said getting some tears in his eyes

"She never got that chance though" Juliet sighed

"Yes she did, you were the last thing she saw" Jughead explained to her

"Do you miss her" Juliet asked

Jughead nodded "Every day. You remind me so much of her"

Juliet pulled her father into a hug as she sobbed into his chest "I know this seems impossible but I really miss her daddy"

"I know baby I do too" Jughead comforted her "You should know JJ, she loved you so much"

As Jughead was hugging his daughter, he was reminded of all the times he had held Betty that exact same way. That thought made his cry harder.
