{General POV}
Betty Cooper was sitting on the bathroom floor, looking at the stick with two lines.
No this could not be happening, she thought. They were only eighteen.
"Betty, are you done" Alice asked on the other side of the door.
Alice, she was the one that noticed all of the signs. She noticed Betty's morning sickness, which is why she encouraged her to take the test.
Betty opened the door and fell into her mom's arms crying.
"Oh Betty" Alice sighed
"It's positive mom" Betty cried "I can't, I can't do this. I have to... "
"Betty you have to tell Jughead" Alice soothed
Betty pulled away from the hug shaking her head "No mom, I can't. I can't tell him. What if he leaves me? What if he doesn't want it"
"Jughead is head over heals in love with you. If he doesn't want this baby then he's crazy" Alice laughed trying to ease up the moment.
Betty laughed a bit.
"Come down after you get ready ok" Alice tells her
Alice was hosting a graduation party for Betty. It started in an hour. Jughead was going to come a bit early to help them set up.
Alice was right, Betty had to tell Jughead.
"Hey Jughead, Betty should be down in a second" Betty heard her mom say downstairs.
Betty rushed down stairs and jumped into Jughead's arms.
"Hello to you too" Jughead laughed
He set her down and gave her a kiss, Betty out her hands on Jughead's neck as he put his on her waist.
Betty smiled as he pulled away. She wanted to make this moment last, knowing that it might be the last time she felt his lips in hers.
"Hey, you ok" Jughead asked "It seems like you've been crying"
"I'm fine" Betty gave him a weak smile.
"Bet-" Jughead started but was soon interrupted with Alice calling Betty into the kitchen.
"You have to tell him Betty, now" Alice insisted
"Mom, no I can't I have to wait at least until today is over. Please I just need one more day with him" Betty pleaded
"Betty" Alice raised her voice
Betty gave her a weak nod and walked back.
"Juggie, I have to tell you something" Betty sighed as she walked back to the living room.
Jughead urged her to go on.
"I'm pregnant" Betty mumbled, but Jughead heard her.
"Is it mine" Jughead asked
Betty was taken back from his question "Of course it is, Juggie I've never been with anyone else"
Jughead looked at her for a moment. "Juggie"
"I need a moment, I'm sorry Betty" Jughead said walking out the door into his car slamming the door shut.
"Damn it" He screamed punching the steer wheel
After Jughead walked out the door, Betty burst into tears. Alice hurried to comfort her daughter.
"I told you mom. I told you he would leave me" Betty sobbed
Alice hugged her. She couldn't believe that Jughead would leave, especially since he hated his mother for leaving him.
Jughead was still in his car, head in his hands. How could he do this to her, she had all these plans for her life and he just had to ruin them all. He realized it wasn't something he could walk away from, he needed Betty. She was like his oxygen, he can't survive without her.
He got out of the car and walked back to the Cooper house, knocking once again.
"That's probably Veronica, she said she was on the way" Alice said standing up and walking to the door.
She was surprised when she saw that it was Jughead standing there. "If you hurt her I will break your scones"
Jughead nodded and walked in. He noticed Betty sitting down on the couch with tears falling from her eyes.
"Betts" he said walking towards her
Betty stood up facing him. "You came back"
"I'm so sorry for walking out like that" Jughead apologized. "I just needed time to absorb it."
Betty nodded "I know, but I'm scared to. I was scared that I would have to do this all by myself. After you had left me"
Jughead took a step closer to her. "I know Betty and I am so sorry. I'm just scared that I'll end up being a horrible father like mine was, or I'll make the same mistake as my moth-"
"Hey Juggie, you will be an amazing father ok" Betty said comforting him
"I love you Juliet" Jughead said before giving her a kiss on her forehead. "And we'll figure this out together ok"
"Together" Betty repeated
