Part 2 to Never here
{General POV}
"What do you mean" Betty asked getting tears in her eyes
"I'm sorry Betts, but my publisher needs me to stay here till nine" Jughead said over the phone
"Jughead it's my first sonogram. For our child. You promised you'd be here" Betty said wiping her tears away from her eyes
"I'm sor-" Jughead started
"No Jughead forget it"Betty interrupted hanging up

Jughead sighed.
"Jughead back to work" His publisher snapped at him
"Fuck off asshole" Jughead muttered under his breath

"Betty Cooper" The doctor called out
Betty stood up wiping her tears off and walking behind the doctor
"Hello Miss Cooper, my name is Dr. Montgomery" the doctor greeted.
"Nice meeting you" Betty smiled
"So can you please lift your shirt up" Dr. Montgomery asked
Betty did as she was told.
"This might be cold" She warned "So there is your baby. You're about a month and a half along" Dr. Montgomery said pointing at the screen.
Betty looked over and smiled getting tears in her eyes once more.
"I'll go get the sonogram pictures and give you a moment" Dr. Montgomery smiled walking out.
Betty was looking at the picture pulling her shirt down. Her phone rang: Jughead. She ignored the call.
"Here you go. Have a nice day"The doctor said handing her the pictures
"Thank you. You too" Betty smiled walking out to her car

It was nine thirty. Betty was sitting on the couch looking at the sonogram picture again. Tears started falling, realizing that maybe Jughead wasn't going to be involved as much as he said he was. The door knob turned and Jughead walked in.
"Hey beautiful" He greeted her kissing her cheek
Betty didn't say or move, she stayed looking at the picture.
She handed it over to him. Jughead took it and smiled.
"How far along are you" he asked
"The last time we did anything" Betty said walking away
"I'm sorry Betts, but I promise you I will be here more when the baby is born" Jughead explained
"Until then what" Betty asked turning to face him "I deal with the baby alone? I go through the morning sickness alone? I'm supposed to go to the doctor appointments alone? Jughead you promised me you would be here more"
"I know, but it's just really hard right now" Jughead started
"I used to be the most important thing for you, what changed" Betty asked, tears rolling down her face
"Nothing" Jughead stated "You are and will always be my number one priority"
"Then why doesn't it feel like it" Betty cried
"Hey" Jughead lifted her face up with both his hands making her look at him "I love you, I'll never stop loving you. I just need extra hours so that when the baby is born I can be here with you"
"You promised that you'll try to work from home"
"I know my boss is an ass" Jughead chuckled making her smile "I'll always be here"
He pulled her into a hug kissing the top of her head.
[8 months later]
"She's beautiful" Betty smiled down at her newly born daughter
"Just like her mother" Jughead grinned kissing his daughter's head
"Do we have a name" the doctor asked
"Juliet Jones" Betty answered
"Perfect" Jughead whispered
