----------General POV----------

Betty and Jughead now living in New York. Moved in together right after high school. Both worked for New York Times Newspaper. Up until 3 years ago when Betty got pregnant with their daughter Juliet. They were a nice happy family, until 6 months ago they had started fighting a lot more than usually, mostly about why Jughead was always getting home late. If he got there late it meant that Juliet was already asleep and wouldn't see him till morning. Every day it was the same fight. They were both getting really tired of it.

----------Jughead's POV----------

I opened the front door. Home on time tonight.

"Daddyy" the small raven haired girl ran into the hallway jumping into my arms.

"Hey princess- daddy missed you"

"I missed you too daddy" she said sweetly

I kissed her head

"Why you not at breakfast today daddy?"

I gulped, suddenly feeling guilty "I had some paper work to finish from last night"

Betty appeared in the hallway and crossed her arms giving me the look

"Yeah to finish paper work which you couldn't have finished by midnight?"

I raised my eyebrows and mouthed can we not now? And nodded my head toward the little girl in my arms. She shrugged and walked away.

"Mommy angry?" she asked

I shook my head "no- do you want a bed time story?"

She nodded

-----

Once she had fallen asleep. I entered mine and Betty's room and got changed out of my uniform before heading to the kitchen, grabbing my dinner, and warming it up in the microwave. Once it had heated up, I carried it into the living room. placing a pillow on my lap and placing the macoroni and cheese on it before eating. Betty sat in the arm chair, her legs over one arm and her head resting on the other on the phone with Veronica.

"Yeah I really want to go" she got quieter "but Jughead probably can't get the time of work and it's hard right now"

Muffles on the other side of the phone before Betty replied "no I can't- yes of course I do- can you not?- okay ... bye"

She put the phone down and looked at me

"Can't what" I asked

"Don't worry"

"Betty-"

"No Jughead don't worry" she yelled

"Betty just tell me for god sake"

"Veronica wants us all to go on a family holiday to her families lake house and just have a nice time but you'll be working so..." she trailed off.

" I could try and get time off-"

"Jughead I don't want to talk about your job. It's all we ever talk about". she said

"We don't talk anymore anyways" I mumbled

"what" she said, anger in her voice

"All we do is argue and it's boring Betty" I sighed

She bit her lip " well I don't know how to change that so"

"Maybe we need couples counseling"

"Oh please. I'm not sitting in a room with a bunch of sados as they talk about their problems and talk about why our relationship isn't working" she laughed sarcastically.
