Season 3 finale spoilers
{General POV}
"Shoot me. Or I shoot you" Hal said pointing the gun at Betty "You have until the count of three"
Betty's hand was shaking as Hal started to count down. As Hal got closer to one, Betty pulled the trigger and knocked off his hook. The three teenagers behind her all gasped as Hal fell on his knees groaning in pain.
After she fired the gun, Betty was no longer able to think straight, the last thing she remembered was seeing Penelope shooting her father in the head. After that she just screamed, falling where Jughead caught her before she hit the ground. As Hal's body fell, Jughead turned Betty's head so she wouldn't have to see what was happening. They had to leave running since Penelope ordered her evil minions to kill them.
Once they had escaped the gargoyles and on their way to the farm, Betty and Jughead were in the back of the car together. Betty's head was on Jughead's shoulder as he tightly hugged her,
"You ok Betts" Jughead asked
Betty didn't answer but the tears that were escaping her eyes gave him his answer.
"Cousin, we're here" Cheryl said as she started getting out of the car
"You don't have to go B" Veronica said but Betty was already getting out of the car.
The rest didn't argue, they just simply followed her inside the building. When they got inside, they only saw Kevin surrounded by clothes and shoes.
"Kev" Betty started
"They're gone, they left me" Kevin said with tears in his eyes
"What do you mean? Where's my mom and Polly?" Betty asked
"They ascended and they left me behind. They said someone had to stay behind and they left me" Kevin explained
Betty started to cry again, even though she hadn't been so close to her mom lately but still. Jughead quickly pulled her into a hug, whispering soothing words into her ear.
After they went home, Betty quickly changed into more comfier clothes and got into her bed.
"He's dead. My dad is dead and my mom and sister have 'ascended'. I've lost everyone Jug" Betty said while staring at her old bedroom wall.
"Betty" Jughead sat next to Betty and started to gently rub her back. "You haven't lost everyone, you still have me"
Betty leaned her head on Jughead's shoulder as a tear escaped her eye. Jughead, of course, noticed, he held her closer and kissed the top of her head. "Thanks Juggie"
Jughead didn't answer, he just held her, knowing that was the only thing she wanted. Eventually Betty fell asleep on his chest with Jughead close behind her.
