"Hey betts" a voice came from behind her
"Juggie" she said in amusement turning around to face him
"You look beautiful" he smiled
"Jughead I'm engaged"she said looking down
"Oh" he mumbled disappointedly.
~~~Flashback 10 years ago~~~
"Juggie we're going to be parents" Betty smiled
Jughead laughed picking her up and spun her around
"I love you and our baby so much" He said in between kisses.
- One month later-
"Hey" Betty smiled picking up the phone and looking at her boyfriend that was on the other side of the glass in jail.
"Hey" Jughead gave a smile back
"I brought you some books and things" She said
"Thanks" Jughead said, the smile fading from his face
"Just let me know if I have to bring something for you next time alright" Betty said over the phone.
"There can't be a next time" Jughead said looking down
" What do you mean" Betty said her eyes getting glossy
" I got eight years, four ahead of me if I qualify for parole" Jughead sighed
"I'll wait" Betty said hopefully
"I can't let you do that" Jughead shaked his head
" you don't get to make that choice" Betty explained
"This is the last time you're going to see me" Jughead said looking into the blonde's eyes "You'll be safe"
"Please don't do this" Betty said her voice breaking
"I want to say thank you"Jughead said looking at his fingers
"I'm not walking away" Betty said trying to get his attention.
"I gotta say I love you" Jughead said looking up at her again.
"Jughead" Betty said in a pleading voice
"I always will" he finished pulling the phone away
"Juggie" Betty pleaded "please don't do this. Please. I love you"
'I love you' his lips read since Betty couldn't hear him without the phone.
He hung up the phone, got up and started to walk away
"Jughead" Betty screamed getting up and following him on the opposite side "Jughead!"
He didn't say anything, he didn't even look back to look at her
"Jughead! Jughead!" Betty was still screaming trying to get his attention banging on the glass that separated them
