Two years later. Both are 20
{General POV}
"I thought we could all go out to dinner" Hal smiled as he got settled into Betty and Jughead's apartment
"That's a great idea" Jughead heard Betty tell her father.
Jughead scoffed, he couldn't believe that Betty had forgiven her father after what had happened two years ago. He hadn't sent her to the Sisters of Quiet Mercy, but he told her she wasn't his daughter anymore.
Jughead walked into the other room and picked up his newly awakened daughter
"What are we going to do about your mother baby girl" Jughead asked holding Juliet closer to him.
"Jug" Betty said making Jughead turn around
"What's he doing back here" Jughead asked with annoyance in his voice
"Jughead he just wants to make this relationship better why can't you accept that" Betty argued taking their three month old daughter away from him
"Betty he didn't come when we got married or even when his granddaughter was born and now he decides to show up" Jughead argued back
"He's trying to make our relationship better" Betty told him putting Juliet's coat on
"Whatever, I'm not buying his good father act, I'll see you guys later" Jughead said kissing his daughter's head and walking out of the apartment not even acknowledging Hal who was sitting there.
Betty sighed wiping a tear away from her eyes and finished getting Juliet's stuff

"So Betty will Jughead be joining us" Hal asked as they ordered their food at the restaurant
"Um no, his boss called him in for extra work" Betty said feeding Juliet
"I just ask because he seemed angry when he walked out" Hal said intensely wanting a real answer
"Dad, why do you care so much about Jughead" Betty asked as she stopped feeding Juliet wiping her mouth
"Because, I don't want to see him hurt you like two years ago" Hal spat
"Seriously. This is the only reason you came to see me. Because you want to make sure Jughead isn't abusing me and his own daughter" Betty said as she gathered her stuff
"Exactly cause I don't want someone like him with you" Hal argued
Betty scoffed standing up and putting her coat on and grabbing Juliet
"I can't believe I actually thought you were going to be different" Betty shook her head
"You're my daughter and I'll do anything it takes to protect you" Hal said
"No, you were right two years ago. You don't have a daughter anymore" Betty said before walking out leaving Hal in there alone.
Betty stepped outside to find the heavy rain coming down. She wrapped Juliet with her coat and started running towards her apartment

Jughead came back from a walk and sat down on the couch with his head in his hands
A while later Betty walked in soaking wet with Juliet who was not as wet as her mother.
"Betty, are you ok, what happened" Jughead asked as he rushed over to her taking Juliet
"I'm fine Jug" She answered wiping her tears
"I'll be right back, you go change into something warm and I'll put Juliet to sleep ok Betts" Jughead said giving her a hug
Betty nodded and walked into their room changing into her sweatpants and Jughead's hoodie.
When she walked out, five minutes later, Juliet had just fallen asleep in Jughead's arms.
Jughead sat her down and sat next to Betty on the couch
"What happened Betts" He asked rubbing her back as she placed her head on his shoulder
"You were right about him, he never wanted us to be a part of his life, he just waned to take us away from you, for the same stupid reason as two years ago" Betty cried
"He thought I was hurting both of you" Jughead asked
Betty nodded, crying into his chest. Jughead sighed and pulled her onto his lap as she continued to let her tears fall.
"It's ok beautiful, we never liked him anyways" Jughead said kissing her forehead
Betty giggled "I guess you're right"
