Part 2 for Happiest

----------General POV----------

.... Or so they thought

Toni kept comforting Jughead. The tears never seemed to dry out. Eventually they had died down a little bit.

"No, she can't be dead" Toni declared.

"That's what I said" Jughead said. "They are still going to try though"

"What are you saying" Toni asked.

"I didn't accept it. I can't accept the fact that she might be dead. They took her to surgery. Supposedly they have been trying to find out a way to make people's heart beat after they have died. Problem is only one person in the millions of people at it has been done on, lived. I know she's strong but, I saw her take her last breath" Jughead whispered.

"Jughead she will survive. I know her, she's strong" Toni comforted him.

"I really hope your right Toni"

~~~
"Come back to me Juliet" Jughead said kneeling down at her grave
"Jug" Betty whispered.
"I love you so much. Please come back" he cried.
"Jughead" she ran over to him and gave him a hug. "Look at me I'm right here"
He could see her. He couldn't feel that she was hugging him.
"You ok there" Cheryl said behind him.
"I can't believe she's gone. Really gone" Jughead mumbled
"Me either. I still miss her every day. Not a day goes by when I don't think about her" Cheryl said sitting down next to him.
"Guys I'm right here. Can't you see me. Can't you see that I'm breathing. Look at me" Betty screamed.
It was no use. They couldn't hear a word she was saying.
"You can't love someone back to life" Cheryl said
"You can try" he answered not removing his sight from the picture of his wife plastered on her grave.
"Look I know that you and me never got along, but if you need anything you know where to find me" Cheryl said getting up ready to leave
"Thanks Cheryl" he mumbled
Betty watched as Cheryl walked away. Leaving her and her husband alone.
"It was all my fault" he said breaking the silence.
"No it wasn't" she answered. But it was as if she was on mute or something, she wanted nothing more than to be in his arms again.
"If I hadn't suggested moving to New York you would still be alive. If I had done a better job keeping my eyes on the road, now you're dead. You're dead and it's all my fault" he cried
"Juggie. It's not your fault" she started to cry with him.
"I love you Betts"
"I love you too Jug"
"I'm not giving up on you yet"
~~~

She opened her eyes. She was back in the hospital bed. She looked down at her hand and smiled when she saw the wedding ring in her finger.

"Ms. Cooper. You survived" the doctor said walking into her room. "Are you feeling ok"

"Well apparently I was dead for a few hours, so I guess I'm fine" she said sarcastically.

The doctor chuckled

"Is my husband here" she asked

"He hasn't left. I'll go get him right now" the doctor walked out.

A few moments later Jughead burst through the doors.

"Oh my god Betts you're ok" he sighed in relief as he pulled her into a hug careful not to hurt her.

"You're not getting rid of me that easy Juggie" she smiled against his chest.

He pulled away and brought her into a kiss.

"Don't you ever scare me like that agin alright" he laughed a little as they pulled away.

"Never, I'll be with you. Forever and always"
