HOW TO DAB LIKE A PRO

"everlee, go to bed! you have school tomorrow!" is what my mom yelled through my closed door, about five hours ago.

it's now three in the morning, and i've been munching on snacks all night. from popcorn kernels stuck between my teeth, to candy wrappers all over my room.

not to mention, i've been watching youtube videos all night too. this isn't my proudest moment for sure.

i scroll along my phone screen, looking for something else to watch. i just got done watching a tutorial on how to talk to hippos, so my next trip to the zoo should be fun.

i spot a thumbnail of a boy that looks oddly familiar. the title read, "how to dab like a pro." and just by reading that, i'm automatically intrigued.

i click on the video, and i still can't help but feel like i've seen this kid before. he looks around thirteen, i don't have a clue on how i could possibly know this boy.

the video ended, and i click on another one of his. all of his content was truly awful, yet still kept me watching. i have to figure out where i know him from, or else it's gonna bother me my entire life.

i squint my eyes, partially because i'm fucking tired, and because i'm trying to focus over the horrible quality. what did he film this with? a shoe?

the boys eyes. his eyes. i'm completely sure i've seen those eyes in person before.

my eyes widen in surprise. it hit me.

that's, matt champion. also known as my very own neighbor.

i gasp, "there's no way that's him." i pause the video to wrap my head around this idea.

i cover my mouth in fear my mom was gonna barge into my room any second, ready to yell at me. i stare at my phone, having no idea what to do next. the, matt champion, had a youtube channel four years ago?

what a classic!

i snap out of my shocked face and break into quiet laughter. i wonder why he hasn't taken this page down, maybe he forgot the password or just simply forgot about it.

or maybe he's just waiting for someone to come and discover it?

if he is, then he's in luck.
