everyone joins up with their group quickly. wesley, matt, ian, and i, are standing in a circle just waiting for josh to give us directions.
"wow, i'm so excited!" matt squeals sarcastically.
josh clears his throat, "all you have to do is just walk around, and explore your surroundings! try to get a good sense of where everything is!" he announces, "oh, and stay with your group, you're not gonna want to get lost!"
everyone scatters around with their group. wesley sighs, and shoves his hands down his pockets, "let's just hurry up and get this over with."
"you don't have to tell me twice." matt mutters, and walks ahead of us. we follow him, even though i know damn well he doesn't know what he's doing.
matt wanders around, until he eventually ends up leading us into the cafeteria. he looks around with a face of disgust, "they call this a
cafeteria? looks like a fucking dungeon to me."we look around a little more before leaving the cafeteria, then we look for something else to explore.
while walking, ian, for some reason thinks it's a good idea to make things a little more awkward than it already is.
ian, walks a little faster to catch up to matt, "so, hows life?" he asks.
oh, hell no.
"pretty great," he answers confidently, "thanks for asking, keenan." he pats ian on the back.
"my name is, ian, not keenan." he points out.
"what's the difference?" matt shrugs.
ian, takes in a deep breath, "okay, listen you fucking-"
"we're gonna go take a look at the cabins! we'll be right back!" i announce, and take ian by the wrist, running off.
"we're all supposed to stay together!" matt yells, but his voice trails off the farther we get.
we slow down, and ian yanks his arm away, "everlee, what the hell are you doing?" he asks.
"i kinda panicked."
"kinda?" he dusts off his shirt, "we can't separate from our group, we'll get into trouble."
"i wouldn't have ran off if you weren't about to have a whole scene back there." i scold him.
he chuckles nervously, "what? me? scene?"
i nod my head, "yes. you. scene."
he groans, "oh come on, he got my fucking name wrong!"
i was about to say something until we both hear someone shouting from a distance.
we hear it again, "stop! stop!" the person shouts.
"you don't think that's-" my words trail off, because the more i think about it, i can't help but feel that it involves, matt and wesley.
"fuck, it's totally them," ian says breathlessly, "did we leave them alone for too long?" he sounds like he's panicking just as much as i am.
without anymore speaking, we rush back to where we were. once we get there, we see matt and wesley getting pulled apart by, merlyn and ameer. a crowd forms around them, and some people are running towards them to see what's going on.
merlyn holds back wesley, and yells for them both to stop. ameer, tugs onto the back of matt's shirt, and tries to help him calm down.
"guys! stop it!" merlyn yells.
they both finally do once they see, josh and our teacher, running towards them. matt, pulls himself away from ameer's grip, and tries to run off. he turns around, and i get a good look of his face. his nose is bleeding, and there's some cuts on his cheeks and the bridge of his nose.
my eyebrows furrow and so do his. i feel like he's starting to freak out, because he starts to breathe heavily. josh grabs him, and drags him away. then, wesley gets dragged off by our teacher, while she scolds him along the way.
"what the hell were they fighting about?" ian, asks the crowd of people, everyone shrugs and glances at each other.
"merlyn? ameer?" i face them both, to see if they have any clue on what went down.
"we have no idea." ameer shrugs.
i see our teacher walking over to me with a furious expression. she points at me, "everlee, come with me." she demands.
why the fuck does she want me for?
a/n:
hey guys, i just wanted to say some things up about everlee's character since we've all figured out a long ass time ago that she's about dumb as fuck. the reason she's so clueless and pretty much stupid, is because i made her that way on purpose. she doesn't pay attention to the people who care the most about her, but the one person she does pay her attention to is of course, her crusty ex. that's reality for some people. sometimes we go out of our way to do shit for people who don't even care about us, yet we do it anyways because we're so blinded from that. sometimes we check up on people who don't even check up on us, we love people who don't notice us, we care for people who don't care about us, and those people don't deserve us, but again we don't realize that sometimes. we get so involved with people that don't even deserve us, that we miss out on the people who do. i personally used to be like that, i would go around giving my love to others who don't even care if i die or not lmao. and in this story, everlee is learning that lesson the hard way. i don't even know if what i just explained makes any sense, hopefully it doesn't sound stupid. BUT LMFAO DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE ROAST EVERLEE FOR BEING SO CLUELESS. i just wanted to explain why her character is the way it is.
