"everlee! that's such a bad idea!" ian says, "but since that piece of shit, wesley, deserves it, then i'm gonna say your plan is going great, sweetie."

this is why we're best friends.

the bell rings and he looks down at his watch, "i'm going to class," ian starts to walk away, "be careful with, matt!" he leaves me by myself.

i smile to myself, "matt champion, is not gonna know what hit him."

-

lunch is usually my favorite time of the day no matter what, but this time i'm really dreading it. i decided to talk to, matt, during lunch but i don't know how to approach him.

people are always surrounding him as if he's a piece of art or something. he doesn't even talk to them, he always has an annoyed expression as he tries to eat his food in peace.

it's rare for me to get nervous around people, i'm really open to everyone. sure this is a crazy idea, but for the sake of my sanity, i'm going to do it.

i grip onto the cold, metal handle hesitating if i should even go inside the cafeteria. i take in a deep breath and pull the door open, there's kids everywhere of course. some are sitting and chatting with their friends, and others are choking down their food like there's no tomorrow.

i walk around seeking for the devil himself, until i finally spot him. matt, is looking annoyed as always, while the people sitting around him try to have a conversation with him. he just ignores them of course.

i walk over to the table and stand right over him creepily. i stared down at, matt, just waiting for some words to spew out naturally. everyone at the table stares at me angrily, and they whisper under their breaths.

matt, looks up at me with a disgusted look, "may i help you?" his voice is extremely deep.

i gulp, "i- i" i start stuttering and it causes a girl to snicker. oh, this isn't good.

"get out of my face, would you?" he keeps a straight face as he gets up from his seat and gathers his things. i don't move a muscle, and my face turns pink from the embarrassment.

matt walks to the exit, "way to go, loser," the girl that snickered earlier said. her auburn hair  got in the way of her eyes, "don't you see he doesn't want to talk to you?" everyone around the table begins to laugh.

i question my next move, i either get back at whoever this girl is or go chase after, matt. chasing after him is way more important.

i roll my eyes at her comment and leave out the door, i turn my head and see him go down the hall.

"matt!" i call out.

he pauses in his spot, he turns around frustrated, "you again? what do you want?" you could see his veins pop out a little.

"we need to talk." i walk slowly towards him.

"i don't want to talk." he continues walking away from me.

"is that how you're going to talk to me? i know something that you don't want the whole school to know," i let out a grin, i'm getting the hang of this now, "if anything, you should be kissing up to me right now."

matt turns around laughing, "and what's that?" he crosses his arms, "am i supposed to be afraid of the girl who dances in her underwear at 3am ?" he teases me.

i gasp, "how do you know that?"

"your window matches up with mine, maybe you should close your curtains next time." he says with a straight face and begins to walk away again.

i almost forgot that we're neighbors.

god, this is fucking embarrassing.

i ignore what he said, and pull my phone out from my pocket, i go to his awful videos from years ago. i wave my phone screen in front of me, "but i got something worse. remember your videos from when you were thirteen?"

he freezes, then turns around quickly with his eyes showing that he's shocked, "how did you get that?" he comes towards me trying to snatch my phone away from my hand.

"i'm on the internet all the time, i was bound to find it." i shrug.

"you better not show anyone that or else." matt threatens me as i see his jaw clench.

"or else what?" i smirk, "champion, i want you to do something for me."

he looks around cautiously, he grips onto my wrist and pulls me behind him, and rushes down the hallways.

"hey! let go of me! i didn't say you can touch me!" i squirm around trying to break free. after a while i give up and let him drag me around, if i try one more time i feel like my whole arm is going to tear off.

we finally made it to his destination as he let's go of my wrist, then pushes me into a janitors closet.

now people, this is what you call extra.

"what the hell was that?" i caress my wrist.

"listen to me, i'll do whatever you want if you don't tell anyone about those videos." he takes on a worried tone.

"deal. i want you to help me get revenge on my ex." i cross my arms.

matt scrunches up his eyebrows, "or how about i give you a hundred bucks to keep you quiet." he reaches into his pocket for his wallet.

i shake my head, "no, i want you to help me with revenge."

"hell no, there's no way." he again looks irritated by everything.

"oh well, have fun with everyone knowing about your-" i act as if i were leaving the room.

"okay fine! i'll help you!" he grunts frustratingly as he runs his hand through his hair, "i'll help you, then after you have to promise that you'll forget about all of this. got it?"

i nod my head happily, "deal!" i put my hand out to seal the deal.

matt, stares down at my hand and rolls his eyes, he nudges me with his shoulder while he makes his grand exit.

oh, this is going to get good.
