Chapter 7

Max's POV
"Harvey, do you like her?" I ask him again
"I gotta go to my room"
"Just one more thing" I add, he just turns around and looks at me waiting for me to speak "talk to her"
"Uh huh" he says, turns around again and goes to his room
I just smile to myself. I should've seen it coming. He's my brother after all. I really hope he gets to date Bex someday. I just want him to be happy.

Harvey's POV
I lay on the bed and look at the ceiling. I like Bexley, I do. But I'm seriously not good at talking to, well, anybody. People think I'm weird. I know. I'm not a weirdo as they might think, and I don't dislike anyone as some might be already saying. I'm only shy. That's it.

I honestly don't know if she likes me or not. But she looks different to me and I'm actually willing to try this time, however, it's gonna cost me a lot to have the courage to talk to her.

Bexley's POV
*A week later*
"So, now, you'll have to work in teams" our science teacher says as I'm wishing he doesn't make me and Zach be in the same team "Zach, Liv, Harvey and" please... not me, not me, not me! "Bexley, you guys will be in the same team" great. Just great. Liv is my friend, so I'm fine with that, but I don't talk to Harvey and I definitely don't wanna talk to Zach ever again.

Harvey's POV
I can't really say it's bad. After all, I don't really talk to any of them. Well, Zach seems like a cool guy. I know that because I've talked to him a couple times. And I can't complain, I am in the same team as Bex, which means I'll have to talk to her. Which increases my chance of becoming her friend and maybe then she'll like me.

"I'm so happy we're in the same team guys" Liv says as she hugs the three of us
"Yeah. I'm happy to work with you, Liv!" she says, but why did she say she was happy to work with her. She apparently doesn't like Zach, but what about me? Well I can't blame her, she's never talked to me.

Bexley's POV
"Enough hugs for today, let's get working" Zach  says. He's so bossy "I will do the presentation, Liv will do whatever it is that we're building or doing or I don't know, because she's really good with crafting. Bex and Harvey... you guys... go to the library and do the research" he says in a serious voice. Liv smirks at me.
"What?" I mouth. She doesn't answer
"You know this is teamwork, don't you? Why do you get to decide what each one of us has to do?" I ask Zach getting mad
"Uh, excuse you, I'm the one who's gonna get you all an A. You should thank me" he says angrily
"You know what? You-" okay I really don't want to go on that road. I am about to explode and it could make all this even worse. "Okay, let's calm down" I say with a sigh
"Well thank you and chill, little Bex, I don't like it when you look at me with hate" he says putting a hand on my head
"Ugh" I roll my eyes, sit at the table and take out my phone to start doing the research I'm supposed to do. Harvey sits in front of me. I see him trying to find the information on the book but at the same time looking at me whenever I pretend to be distracted

"Bex, can I talk to you for a second?" Liv asks pretending to be worried
"Uh huh" I say standing up and moving away from the table
"Having fun?" She says with this huge smirk on her face and looking at Harvey
"What do you mean?" I chuckle
"Harvey... and you. Duh"
"Harvey and me what?" I whisper
"Hana told me"
"I gotta do my work. Excuse me" I turn around and sit down again

This is exactly the reason why I couldn't trust any of my friends with my secret crush on Max. Somehow, it always becomes a rumor between our small group of friends. Why can't they keep it to themselves for once in their lives?

I notice Harvey repeatedly looking at me, again.
"What?" I ask him
