I never thought Harvey would text me. Like I never expected him to be the first one to text me, but I feel like it's awesome how everything is slowly getting better, maybe not as good as it could be, but it's okay.

*the next day*
I'm sitting next to Harvey in class. We don't talk, but he looks at me and smiles. This is the first time it's happened in more than two weeks and I can tell you that it actually felt special. I don't mind if this has happened a thousand times, it feels like it's the first one again. I think I'm in love

It feels kind of weird to smile at Bexley again. Even if she doesn't like me, I still want to have her as a friend. I love her. She's perfect to me,

I turn my phone off and then I go up to Max to go home together

"So how are things going between you and Bex?" He asks

"It's actually going pretty well I think. She texted me yesterday"

"Awesome, bro. Maybe she likes you now" he says shoving me playfully

"No, I don't think so"

"Don't lose hope, maybe she does. By the way, have you talked to Zach lately?"

"Yeah. He's been telling me how he's gonna get Bex now that you're out of the way"

"He can't understand that she doesn't want anything to do with him, can he?" Max asks frowning and crossing his arms

"You don't have to get mad"

"You're right. You're the one who should be getting mad because if he steals Bex away from you, you'll be sorry" he says. I gulp. He's right. "And now that he thinks nobody is in his way, he'll try harder than ever to get her back, so you better not mess up, bro" he says patting my back

"I... don't know what I'm gonna do"

"Better start thinking about it. Your time's running out" he says patting my back again
