It was Jon's idea to do this, a team building weekend. I do not like this one bit. All to do with my counseling and me getting better. Well, we did a weekend like this last month where we were at a beach house for a few days. I confessed to Danny needing and wanting help. This weekend is supposed to help too. This is going to bring us all together again. We all had backpacks on our backs with our supplies. We left our ride at the visitor center than made our long walk up hill towards our campsite. My feet were starting to hurt and there was a numb dull pain in my left leg too. I could hear Donnie whining behind and I chuckled. Danny thought this was cool and was away ahead of all of us.
"This reminds me too much our cartoon series where we were in the woods and we got lost" I replied. The others all stopped and looked at me "What?".
"You remember".
"Hey I remember things lately".
"Are we even there yet? My feet hurt" whined Donnie.
"Just a little bit further".
"Oh, what! C'mon. I am hungry" whined Donnie. Jon shook his head and carried on walking with Danny. "WHY DID WE HAVE TO LEAVE OUR PHONES. You still got yours".
"Only for emergencies. No distractions. No calling wifey or mommy. And anyway we have no signal here so sorry, Ddub". Donnie groaned. We all carried on walking while some were whining.
A little later we were still walking towards the campsite this time both Joe and Donnie were lagging behind.

"Why are we doing this anyway?" I replied.
"This is for you. So we can get your trust again. Half your problems are from being alone thinking how you were abandoned when you were the last to be found. You are angry cos you were the last to recover. Not to mention weeks of amnesia. Not realizing we were here to help you if you just allowed us too. So we are going to help you on the trip" said Jon.
"Wasn't my confession for me to want help was enough and did ask for it?".
"This is it. A weekend with nature" replied Danny looking up towards the tall trees.
"Really, didn't you watch the cartoon? We got lost. We had nothing to eat. There is no in fun this" replied Joe as he and Donnie caught up with us.
"Well if we do get lost, we need not to worry about feeding J as he doesn't eat much" replied Donnie with an arm around me.
"Hey, I do eat and I gained a couple of pounds" I playfully shove his arm away.
"I am only joking. God you're such a girl".
"What about you? You're the one complaining about walking. Whining cos you can't have your phone".
"Hey take that back".
"Make me" I replied with my fists up ready for him.
"OK" says Donnie as he puts his bag down and tackles me before I can put mine down. He does give me a chance to remove it before we are play wrestling on the floor.
"Come on guys, we have to get to camp before it gets dark" moaned Jon. We took no notice as we were still on the floor in a heap.
"Leave them. He's happy. I haven't seen him smile and laugh like that in a long time. He's even got his dimple grin showing and there is a glint in his eyes which I haven't seen in months" replied Danny as he carried on walking. Jon sighs and follows Danny.
But Joe joins the party on the floor as he jumps on me. None of us were really acting our age at the moment as we were play wrestling on the floor. Somehow we did manage to get to the campsite before dark.
A/n New update. I am looking for a picture of them as their cartoon selves in the woods and plus one of Donnie, Joe and Jordan together like the last bit of the story. So stay tuned new media to follow.
