Hi, my name is Nila Collins. When I was little I was diagnosed with leukemia. I knew now that I was never going to have a normal life.
My disease was a big problem, emotionally, physically and mentally. Some times I would need spare body parts from a willing donner. The person had to be related to me in order for it to work. Mom was always there. For the past three years she donated blood marrow, white cells and other things I couldn't understand at that time.
At age seven I was sent back home. I haven't been in the hospital ever since. I never felt sick anymore, assuming my disease just went away. That it disappeared meaning no more pain or suffering. Maybe here on in everything was going to be sweet like a bowl of cherries.
Sadly, I was wrong, everything got even worse. But I met this guy name Ray Ray and he changed the way I see things now. He was the highlight of my life. Even when every heart breaking moment was falling upon me at once. Where I stop from the point where it would drive me close to insane.
