[COMPLETED]
[JIKOOK] [SOPE] [NAMJIN]
[omegaverse]
"I hate you so much." Jimin spat as he stared at the taller alpha that could easily rip out his throat in a second or two.
"The feelings are mutual, you omega trash." Jungkook retorted with an unden...
Every step that he took in the opposite direction of me, broke off a piece of my heart.
"W-Wa-Wait.." I mumbled incoherent words and roughly pulled at my hair, falling to the floor helplessly, "Do-Don't leave... Don't leave... Don't leave... Don't..."
A hand touched my shoulder and I flinched hard because it wasn't Jungkook's touch, "Jungkook.. Jungkook.. Where's Jungkook...?"
I looked around and he was nowhere to be found. He had already left me. The world was beginning to become a grayish color, which had terrified me to no end.
Where is he? He left me. I'm alone. Jungkook. Where is he? Why isn't he here with me? Jungkook. I'm alone. He's gone. Why did he leave me? He left me. Jungkook. Don't leave me. Please. Stay. Stay here wi—
"Jimin!" Namjoon had gripped my shoulders tightly and shook me so I would look at him, "Jimin, can you hear me?!"
"Joon, where's Jungkook?" I asked, my breathing coming out as labored and forced, "Please help me find him, he couldn't have left me. We were mated together by Luna after all, he'd never leave—"
"Jimin! Stop being caught up in these fairytales and be realistic! All that mate shit is just a load of bull." He let go of my shoulders and turned away, seeming to be caught up in his emotions.
"Now, pull yourself together." He then turned back towards me with a stern expression, but his words seemed to be aimed to himself, "We still have a deal and you are not breaking it."
I wiped my blurry eyes and nodded, "Yeah.. I guess.."
"It's no 'I guess', Jimin." He mocked me by making my voice sound like old woman's, but his intimidation didn't fail to scare me, "My mom used to always tell me 'Don't go chasing after clouds because they're just intangible masses of condensed water vapor floating in the atmosphere'."
Confusion scrunched in my eyebrows, "What?"
He sighed and shook his head, "Can you touch clouds?"
I shook my head.
"Then why are you trying to chase them?"
I was silent as I realized his metaphor. A half smile rose to my left cheek, "Thanks, Joon."
He blinked a few times, like my gratitude was unexpected, "Umm.. sure. Let's uh.. Let's go get some ice cream."
Chuckles erupted from my chest and I sniffled, "What's with you and ice cream?"
He began to walk into the parking lot with his hands in his pockets but I caught up with him, looping my arm around his.
[ice cream parlor]
"Pardon me." Joon asked a lady behind the counter.
The woman turned around with a small smile, "Yes?"
"Can we get a vanilla and a—" he stopped to look at me.
"A strawberry with extra mochi?"
Joon looked at me and smiled with an expression as if he was looking at a child or a very old person.
"What? What is it?" I giggled.
"Extra mochi? That seems just like you."
I looked at him with an expression of muddle, "Whachu mean?"
He grabbed my cheek and pinched it, shaking it gently, "Look, even your cheeks are mochi."
I rolled my eyes and slapped his hand away, "Leave my cheeks alone."
The woman at behind the counter chuckled with a vanilla cone in her left and a strawberry cup with white mochi and a plastic spoon in her right, both Joon and I looking at her, "Sorry, it's just that y'all are sodarn cute."
A blush appeared on my cheeks and I scratched the back of my neck, "Th-Tha—"
"Thanks for the ice cream." Joon shot her a smile as he took the two ice creams from her hands and the girl about dropped her panties right then and there.
Then he looked at me and gestures his head towards the door, "Let's go."
I opened the door for him and a little bell rang as we exited, "Let's sit on this bench here!"
He complied and sat down on the wooden bench next to me, handing me my cup of strawberry ice cream and mochi. I dug in with the plastic spoon, the cold ice cream soothing my heart.
Joon just looked at the setting sun as he licked the side of the white ice cream.
"Is yours good?" I asked, stuffing my face with mochi.
He nodded, his eyes attached to the sun, "Yeah, it's okay."
I hummed in response, not really listening to him since I was too occupied with the cold deliciousness in front of me. Once I had taken my last bite, I sighed in content and stared at the sunset as well.
Joon stifled a laugh and I looked at him with a funny look, "What?"
He pointed at the lower half of my face, "It looks like Kirby jizzed all over your face."
I blinked before realizing what he said and quickly wiped it off, kinda embarrassed of my childlike ways of eating.
He laughed loudly and slapped his left knee, "Oh wow, you're like my little cousin."
I glared at him but knew that I couldn't argue. I did order strawberry mochi ice cream and seemed to get it all over the place. Once he stopped his laughing fit, we stared at the orange and yellow sky in comforting silence.
He's gone. Why did he leave me? I shook my head, ridding my mind of the recent past. Even so, my eyes still seemed to tear up a bit. Joon definitely noticed but chose not to say anything. Instead, he comforted me with silence. The best thing he could've done for me.
"I like you a lot." I wiped a single tear from my eye, a small smile on my face.
Joon's face tensed up, "Umm.. Jimin, you just got over a breakup and I didn't want to give you the wrong idea by getting you ice—"
I laughed loudly, my mouth wide and my eyes chinky, "No, Namjoon!"
Namjoon sighed in relief, stuffing the remains of the cone into his mouth, "That's good."
I turned to the side and looked up at him, "I like you because you can make me forget that I'm sad."
