[Taehyung]

"Fuck everyone," I muttered under my breath, "I'm a bad bitch, I don't need those hoes,"

Out of everyone I have in my life, I didn't expect Jin to leave me.

"He can go suck a caterpillar's dick," I crossed my arms, a pout residing on my face.

Next time I see him, I'll give him hell. I looked around my lonely room, no one to visit a sick patient. I scoffed, who would visit me?

Ever since I was a kid, I've never enjoyed being alone. Especially in a cold room. It always sent an unsettling feeling down my spine. The silence in the room began to sizzle in my mind, the unsettling feeling spreading deeper and deeper into each vertebrae. I grabbed the remote from the beside side table and turned on the tv, a news channel popping up immediately.

"This just in, adding to the death of Jeon Yein, her son, Jeon Jungkook, seems to have called off the marriage with Lisa Manoban, his supposed love of his life," said a woman in a blue dress, red marks under eyes, most likely from crying.

Jungkook miraculously deciding not to marry the most prosperous woman in all of Asia on the same day Jimin rejected me and left? This has got something to do with him.

But if it does, how did Jimin manage to convince Jungkook to just leave everything that was important to him; the money, the fame, the title. If he had actually gone through the marriage and fused with Lisa's company, his company wouldn't be the most prosperous in asia — no, it would be the most prosperous in the world.

What could Jimin have said or done to have made him change his mind? Or was Jimin even a part of this? Maybe there's someone else in the picture that I don't—

"Hello," greeted an unfamiliar voice as the door to my room closed gently.

I looked up from my thoughts and straightened my posture when I sensed her pheromones. My eyes focused on the woman before me and I could immediately recognize her since her face was currently on the tv that was playing.

"Hi?" I said in more of a question manner than a greeting one.

She walked towards my bed and took the seat that was closest to me, our collective gaze not breaking.

"I'm Lalisa Manoban," she introduced, a business like manner to her words even if she was wearing sweatpants and a shirt. Her face was gorgeously decorated with a minimal amount of makeup, her natural beauty showing through. Her hair was put in a tight bun that rested on the lower part of her neck. The bangs that were usually in front of her eyes, from what I see in the magazines, was braided back into the bun which framed her face quite nicely. Then right above the bun was a frilly, white hairpiece that showed off her wealth. It had to be at least seven thousand dollars with all of the gems in it.

"I know," I replied, my hands properly placed in my lap, "I think you may have the wrong room, Ms. Manoban,"

"Are you Kim Taehyung? I saw the tag on the door," she asked, her voice not too high, not too low, but it still emanated her strength and power which dominated over me.

I nodded, "I'm Kim Taehyung, but what business do you have with me?"

She gulped and I could see a faint, grey glaze cover her eyes, "I was sent here by someone who said that you are aquatinted with Kim Jennie?"

Jennie?

"I was told that she may have been here with you," she looked around briefly before her eyes fixated back on me, "but it seems that she isn't,"

I shook my head slightly, "No, she went to go do something for me,"

"Does that something have something to do with Park Jimin, Jeon Jungkook, and Min Yoongi?"

"Min Yoongi?" Then in that instant, I remembered my phone call with Jennie.

"Min Yoongi of Min Electronics, Jeon Jungkook of Kookies and son of Jeon Yein, and Jimin are all at the wedding venue, discussing something with... Lalisa Manoban, cousin of Min Yoongi,"

But what does that have to do with me? When did I get in the picture?

"I see that you have some correlation with them considering that Jimin was the one who told me to come find you,"

I blinked.

"But you may be wondering, 'Why is this beautiful woman here?'" She stood from her chair and put her hands behind her head so her shirt came up her navel, revealing a pale stomach in which her ribs poked out of.

Once she finished stretching, she looked at me with a smile, "Well I'm here because I want Jennie, and you're the only one who can help me find her,"

My eyes turned to slits, "What do you want with Jennie?"

Her mischievous look turned into one of confusion, "Why are you looking at me like that? I mean — how are you even looking at me like that?"

I didn't answer her question but continued to glare at her.

"You're a Beta aren't you? You kind of smell like one." Her head tilted to the side in confusion as well as interest.

"What do you want from Jennie?" I repeated.

She tilted her head to the other side and her expression hardened, "Stop looking at me like that."

The alpha tone in her voice was strong, it was even evident in her pheromones, but her voice just laced power. Something in me told me — begged me to bow down to this woman, but the other half of me told me to stand my ground. The latter half was stronger.

My eyes locked with hers once more, "What do you want with Jennie?"

She stared at me with that same confused/intrigued expression until she scoffed, sitting back in the chair phlegmatically, "Heh, you've got balls, beta."

She sniffed a bit and wiped her philtrum with her pointer finger, "I want Jennie because I want to make her mine,"
