                              [Namjoon]

"It's not looking too good, Mr. Kim," a man with a curt expression informed blankly, "After the first 48 hours without any activity, we shouldn't be getting our hopes up, in all reality, we should be preparing for the worst,"
                              "Th-The worst?"
"Yes, did he have a will of some sort?"
My mouth went dry, "I'm-I'm sure you know that he's the—"
"Yes, the hybrid, I'm aware of this," he responded, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose, "and the only reason he survived was because of his profuse blood flow. If he had cut a major artery or vein, he would've died on the spot, especially since we can't provide him with any blood."
My eyes met the floor and I thought carefully. If Taehyung dies.. all that father— I worked for will go down the drain. All those deaths will be for naught, useless. It's not like I could just make another hybrid, it's not that easy.
Especially since I have no idea what the factors of his blood evolution was, and I've been researching it for twenty two years.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Kim, but I have to attend to my other patients now," the cold man informed as he walked past me, not caring about my serious situation.
If Taehyung dies.. all my research will be..
I clenched my jaw tightly, "I can't let that happen."
I lifted my head and determination filled my mind. I've got to get him to at least open his eyes, move, something! I have until Sunday.
                              It's Friday.
                              [Jungkook]
She had a glistening smile that was spread across her cheeks as she shook Yongkook's hand with a firm grip, "It's very nice to meet you,"
Yongkook lifted Lisa's small hand slowly to his lips, kissing her pale, supple skin softly, all while looking at me straight in the eyes, "You as well,"
I took in a deep breath, wanting this meeting to hurry and be over with. Yongkook stood straight and smiled, his eyes finally leaving from mine, "I'm looking forward to this merge between our families,"
After those words were said, he took a few steps back, entering the sea of people and eventually disappearing in the pheromones to cause some mischief.
Lisa smiled and looked towards me, "I was pretty upset that we had to postpone the marriage until Sunday, but we absolutely have to have your father here,"
I nodded, my body and mind hollow, "He should be here tomorrow morning,"
Her hand touched my chest and her sweet venom spread to my heart, 'You better start acting right, everyone is here.'
I sighed at her command, 'Fine.'
I shot her a bright smile and grabbed her by the small of her back, pulling her closer to me, "I'm so excited,"
I felt eyes on me from every direction. I looked at Lisa's smiling face to realize that she was really pretty.
Her big, doe-like eyes, her button nose, her small face, her pale, supple skin.
But Jimin isn't pretty. He's beautiful.
I made some distance between us when I noticed that the crowd had approved of the scene and the aura was less suspicious.
'What's the matter with you today?' Lisa's voice rang through my head angrily.
I looked away from her sharp glare and focused on the faces in crowd, 'Nothing.'
'No tell me! I know there's something up with you, you've never acted like this before!'
I began to walk away from her, her annoying and obnoxious voice still questioning me.
                              'Leave me alone.'
I then disappeared in the crowd, trying to escape this world and all the people in it. Except him.
                              [Jimin]
Jin rolled a red, shiny apple towards me from across the dark wood table, "You need to eat."
I caught the apple as it rolled off of the table and I set it back down, shaking my head. Hungry was the last thing on my mind, "I'm not hungry,"
I heard Jin sigh but my eyes were glued to Taehyung's chest that went up and down at a slow, steady pace.
"There is no way that you're not hungry," Jin stood aggressively and slammed his hands onto the table, "You haven't eaten in two days. You need to eat."
I imagined myself taking a bite out of the juicy apple and my stomach twisted in painful cramps, "I can't. I'll throw up."
Jin looked at me with an upset expression before sitting down, knowing that he was too nice to shove a whole apple down my throat. The room became a solemn quiet besides the rhythmic beeping of Taehyung's heart monitor. I heard the lock of the door click and I looked behind me to see the doorknob twisting. The door opened and there stood a tired Namjoon. I smiled.
I haven't seen Namjoon in a long time, since that party he took me to in exchange for the estrus injections.
"Hello,"
Under his eyes were prominent dark circles that made him look like a panda or raccoon of some sort. He had a serious expression on his face, one that held an extreme amount of stress, "Hi, Jimin,"
I turned back to the front, not finding any words to say.
"Hi, Jin,"
From my peripheral vision, I saw Jin half smile towards Namjoon and stand from his chair, welcoming Namjoon in for a tight hug, "Hey,"
They both pulled back and until their eyes were on me, I didn't notice that I was staring so intently. I averted my eyes from them violently and look back at Taehyung, "Sorry."
Jin chuckled faintly and sighed, "Don't apologize."
I kissed my teeth in embarrassment and didn't respond to him.
Jin turned towards Namjoon with a curiously sparkle in his eyes, "What brings you by?"

Namjoon looked as if he had just remembered something important, "I need to be alone with Taehyung,"
My eyebrows knitted in a line of confusion, "What? Why?"
Namjoon shook his head and began to walk towards Taehyung, "I just.. want to be alone with him. Since I haven't really been able to come by that much,"
I blinked a few times and looked towards Jin who had a face of nonchalance before ushering me to follow him, "Come on, let's give them some alone time."

I gulped but nodded, taking small steps away from Taehyung. We walked out of the small, cold room and were waiting outside, where Taehyung's heart monitor was faint and nurses passed by without a glance.
It's Saturday.
[author's notes]

So as you can tell, Jungkook's wedding and Taehyung's last day to wake up are the same day.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to include everything I want to in the next chapter so it may be longer than usual, but I'm not too sure.

:)

Have a good day!
