[COMPLETED]
[JIKOOK] [SOPE] [NAMJIN]
[omegaverse]
"I hate you so much." Jimin spat as he stared at the taller alpha that could easily rip out his throat in a second or two.
"The feelings are mutual, you omega trash." Jungkook retorted with an unden...
Jin began to profusely call someone, the other line not answering, despite the hundreds and hundreds of times that he called. After the thousandth time, he seemed to give up because he sighed and tossed the phone onto the chair behind him. He closed his eyes and pushed his palms into the sockets, pointing his head upwards in defeat.
"So why are you terrorizing someone?" I asked with a smile on my face, trying to lighten the mood or at least cheer him up.
He looked towards me, his hands falling to his side form his eyes, "Huh? I'm not terrorizing anyone, I just.. someone just confused me."
My eyebrows furrowed, "Someone? Who is this someone?"
He thought, contemplating something, before continuing our conversation, "Umm.. I don't think—"
"Come on, Hyung, just tell me—" I interrupted his uncertain words.
"It's Jimin."
With the sound of his name, I could feel my mood slowly droop and my smile faltering. Just hearing his name was enough to make me remember the reason why life wasn't worth living anymore and I immediately regretted asking Jin. I started to wonder how I could've forgotten such an awful thing that happened only hours ago. It might've been my mind trying to tape itself back together, to no avail, "Oh,"
Jin nodded, "Yeah, I know. That's why I didn't want to tell you, but I think he's in trouble."
I was silent. My heart wanted to burst out my chest and lead me to Jimin so I can comfort him with a hug and kiss on the forehead but my mind sealed my lips tightly in a straight line so no words would be released into the crisp air.
"He called me earlier, asking for help, but then hung up and now, he's not answering the phone," Jin looked down at his feet with a mix between sorrow and confusion.
"Did he just hang up randomly, like he was being hurt? Or willingly?"
"There was someone there and he was whispering to that person. He didn't sound like he was in actual danger. Just trouble."
"Do you know what he did?" I asked.
"Yes." He respondes curtly, his posture straightening.
I blinked, "Then tell me,"
Jin shook his head and turned on his heel, heading toward the door, "I'm gonna go look for him, I can't leave him alone. I'll be back—"
"Jin Hyung!" I called out, ripping the covers from my legs, revealing the hospital gown that stopped at my tan knees, "Take me too!"
Jin twisted the doorknob and rushed outside, closing the door lightly behind him so I couldn't question him any longer. For a second, I just stared at the door but once I realized that Jin had just ignored me and left me behind, my eyebrows furrowed angrily. I switched my position to where my feet were dangling from the bed so I could follow him, but the second I placed the ball of my right foot on the cold, tile floor, my whole leg was consumed by prickly needles. I hissed in pain and immediately retracted my limb from the fiery abyss, the numbness from not walking for almost a week getting to my nerves. I sighed as I positioned myself how I was originally, knowing I wasn't going to get anywhere past the door of my room.
I turned my head towards my nightstand and I saw my phone quietly sitting there. I reached for it and unlocked it, speed dialing a number although I have it engraved in my brain.
After a few seconds, the person answered with a tired tone, "Hello, Taehyung,"
I smiled once I heard her familiar, monotonous voice, "Hey, I'm going to need you to do a favor for me,"
She sighed from the other side, her laziness showing through, "What is it?"
"Go find Jungkook and Jimin,"
"Jungkook? As in Jeon Jungkook?"
I nodded although she wouldn't see it, "Yes, Jeon Jungkook, and tell me what's going on,"
She was silent for a few seconds, "May I ask why I'm doing this?"
"I don't even know why, Jennie," I responded, pinching the bridge of my nose stressfully, "and that's why I called you, so I can find out,"
She was silent once more, "Okay,"
Profuse beeping noises sounded on the other line and I sighed at her apathy.

Despite the hollow feeling within me, I had to do something. Not only because Jungkook kindly disposed of his devil-woman of a mother, but because he was my friend. And I know Hobi would've wanted me to help him, even if they didn't end on the right terms or feelings.
However, this Jimin fellow. Yes, I've met him once or twice but it surprised me that Jungkook would be so willing to protect an omega, considering how he would spit in the eyes of a beta for disrespecting him. But that's okay, because Hobi would've wanted me to help Jimin too. Hobi would do everything he could to help Jungkook and Jimin, so that's what I'm going to do. Because he would've done it.
"I'm guessing Lisa is currently at the venue, right?"
Jungkook looked at me with assertive eyes, "She should be, we were supposed to be married around two hours ago so if she isn't, then she isn't far,"
I nodded and stood from the leather chair, using my arms to push me up, "Okay, let's get going to the venue,"
Jungkook stood up and Jimin did so right after, hiding behind him slightly. I chuckled inwardly at their intimacy.
Although it was unbelievable that Jungkook would have any sort of affection for any person who wasn't an alpha, I could see the tangible bond between them that was laced with love and desire for each other.
I'll protect them. I'll protect them because you would, my sun.
