"-KOOK!" A screechy voice rang loudly, my brain rattling inside of my head. My eyes seizured and slowly focused on a figure standing in front of me.

Lisa's slender fingers were resting on her skinny waist, her foot tapping impatiently on the wood floor like she had the intention of cracking it.

"W-What?" I replied, still trying to get her voice to stop echoing in my body.

"I've been calling you for ten minutes. Why are you ignoring me?" She asked, irritation lathering her voice thickly.

I blinked a few times before shrugging my shoulders, "I just spaced out, I guess."

"Uh huh.." She crossed her arms suspiciously and pushed her tongue into her cheek angrily, but seemed to drop it without any more questions, "Well, I'm going to be going out with my friends, so I'll see you when I get back, 'kay?"

I noticed that she was wearing a pink body-con dress that went to her mid thigh with fuzzy boots that reached all the way up to her knees. She turned on her heel, ready to leave, "Wait."

She halted and turned once more, her light brown hair following her in her spin, "What is it, Kook?"

I got my phone from my pocket and showed it to her, "WiFi?"

She rolled her eyes and uncrossed her arms, taking fast, impatient steps towards me, "It's 12345678,"

I scoffed and unlocked my phone, entering the generic passcode that would most definitely get her hacked one day, "You need to get a better passcode."

I used my thumbs to type in the eight numbers but a little box appeared saying: Incorrect passcode. Try again.

My face scrunched up in confusion, knowing that it's impossible for me to fuck up eight simple numbers. I heard a small giggle come from Lisa's direction and I glared at her, "For real, Lisa."

She laughed loudly this time, not even bothering to politely cover her mouth with the back of her hand like she usually does and when she was done, she stretched her arm out to me, "Give me the contraption."

Rolling my eyes in aggravation, I tossed the phone into her direction - which she caught in on hand with ease - and waited for her to type in the digits, "Watch me."

I reluctantly moved my neck to crane over her shoulder because she had bent down to show me, "Watch closely now, Kookie."

"Yeah yeah, I'm watching," I reassured sarcastically, not wanting to deal with her jokes at the moment.

Her thumbs slowly pressed the screen, one at a time so she could "make sure I understood".

"One 2, three 4's, five 6's, seven 8's."

The apartment was completely silent.

"Are you fucking kidding me?"

She reverted back to her polite laugh with her hand over her mouth, "Nope," she popped the 'p' playfully with a bright smile on her face, "I've been waiting for someone to ask me the WiFi passcode, but rich people all use unlimited data."

She rolled her eyes and smiled once more before waving, "Okay, I really gotta go now, the girls are gonna be upset if I make them wait any longer."

I scoffed and crossed my arms, "Last time we went out to eat together, you made me wait for forty minutes."

She winked at me, allowing me to acknowledge her insanely long eyelashes, "Well that's what makes this fun! Bye bye!"

She skipped off, happy that she could pull her long awaited prank on me and I sighed, not really knowing what to do.

The wedding is this Friday.

After today, there's only gonna be five days more left until I have to give up my title as a legitimate bachelor, not that it was important to me.

"Might as well drink." I resolved with myself, a habit I picked up from Seo-Yeon.

[Jimin]

I stared at Jin's fluid movements with awe and intensity. He may have just been wiping the counter down with a damp rag, but he made it look.. elegant.

Jin laughed at my expression, finally finishing the task at hand and hanging the rag over his shoulder casually, "You like these skills?"

I nodded frantically, secretly aspiring to become a rag master like him. A sweet smile formed on his face as he looked at me with kindness, "You know, maybe you could start working here. I'd pay really well and we could always be keeping an eye on each other."

I gasped and my mouth gasped open, "You're kidding."

He shook his head with a satisfied smile, knowing that his proposition would do nothing other than make me jump for joy, "Nope, the job's yours if you want it."

My hands flew to my cheeks in surprise and I slipped my bottom off of the barstool, my feet landing on the floor, "Jin!!"

His hearty, windshield laugh sounded loudly but it didn't matter since we were the only ones in here, the bar being oddly slow today, "Thank you thank you thank you! When do you want me to start!?"

He put his pointer finger on his chin in an absurd pantomime, "How about now? I need a break."

I nodded frantically and jumped over the counter to wrap my arms around his neck, "Yay!"

He patted the back of my head softly and I pulled away, a happy grin plastered on my cheeks.

"Alright, Jimin, if someone comes in just say we're closed, that Namjoon fellow broke my sign," his eyes turned into slits as he thought about Namjoon but then softened as he waved me goodbye and finally made his departure through the front door.

I love this bar. It's my safe haven. Taehyung and I would come here all the time as children, especially when we were upset or down. I positioned myself behind the bar, running my fingers against the smooth, dark marble, smiling to myself as I reminisced memories. The time I fell and busted my lip on it, how Tae and I had once climbed on top of it and danced, and how I would lay my head down and cry while allowing all of my worries to spill from my lips to Jin and Tae.

I chuckled softly, "I love thi—"

The familiar jingle of the front door sounded and I came back to reality, "Sorry, we're—"

My words clogged my throat once my eyes landed directly on his.

"Fuck." Jungkook muttered lowly under his breath.

[author's notes]

Sorry I haven't been active. I got back from New York just a few days ago and I had to make up a few reports and papers so I've been pretty busy.

New York was amazing. BTS was so beautiful.

I'm not joking at all when I say I cried the whole time. Everyone around me was looking at me like I had three eyes. I started crying the second I walked into the Prudential center.

But have a good day!

I hope you enjoyed this chapter and jikook's miraculous meet ups.
