I stuffed the last bit of pancake in my mouth, moaning at its greatness, "You seriously made these yourself, Tae?"

He nodded, his mouth filled with pancake as well, "Yush."

His cheeks looked like he was a little squirrel who was harvesting for winter and I snorted loudly, a headache coming straight after, "Oh crap."

He titled his head to the side cutely, "Whut?"

I held the bridge of my nose and tilted my head up towards the sky, "I think pancake just went up my nose..."

He laughed loudly, showing all of the mashed up contents in his mouth, in which I slapped him hard on the arm.

"Damn, Chim," he muttered, holding the spot that I hit him at with a hurt expression, "That hurted."

I scrunched my nose a few times to make sure I didn't have any pieces pancake in my brain, "I bet it did, and it's not 'hurted' it's 'hurt'."

"Eh, whatever." He swallowed, a loud gulping sound following.

I smiled at his cute expression of "enjoying the food". The sun was slowly crawling up the sky, awaiting for the chance to shine as bright as it could. Taehyung and I basked in the comfortable warmth with our eyes closed, enjoying each other's presence and the silence that came with it.

"Hey, I love you." Whispered Taehyung calmly, as if we were talking about something mundane like the weather.

His words made me smile uncontrollably, but I kept my eyes closed and continued to sunbathe, "I love you too."

Large arms wrapped around me, startling me but I refrained from screeching. His fresh scent wrapped around me and did nothing but calm me and make me happy. Taehyung's legs were on either side of me and I leaned back on his broad chest, enveloped in his warmth.
 
His nose dug into the crook of my neck possessively, taking in my scent as if I were going to disappear from his arms at any moment. I titled my head to the side and leaned it on his shoulder with a small, happy grin. I held his arms that were wrapped around my waist tightly, remembering this moment and burning it into my brain.

"You know you're mine, right?" He inquired into my neck, "You're mine and I'm yours."

I nodded, the smile not daring to leave my red, flushed cheeks.

"I've never loved anyone like I've loved you. Please never leave me. I need you." He squeezed me even tighter every sentence.

I held onto his arms that were wrapped around me worriedly and kept my eyes on the sun's orangish rays, "What's got you so anxious?"

He sighed and loosened his grip once he noticed how tight it was, "Nothing. I just wanted to let you know how much you mean to me."
   
I didn't respond, the silence calming me until a guitar intro sounded, my mind immediately reacting to the beautiful strums and the woman's soft voice. I couldn't understand a word she said.

"What is this, Tae?" I asked, referring to the beautiful music that seemed to skate across the skies in one swift motion.
  
I heard the sound of his phone being set on the floor, "It's my chimmy playlist."

I positioned my head to where I could see his face but I was still laying comfortably on his wide chest, "Chimmy playlist?"
  
"Mhmm.. It's just a collection of songs that remind me of you."
 
I looked forward at the busy city so he wouldn't see my blush, "W-Well.. Why does this specific song remind you of m-me?"
 
His chest vibrated from his deep, hearty chuckles, "Because you're the best part."
 
My eyebrows furrowed, "Besteu pahrt? What is that?"
 
He laughed at my confusion, "You're the best part, as in.. the reason why I'm living. The part that makes me happy that I was born into this world."
  
I hummed in response and for some odd reason.. I couldn't say the same about him.

[An hour later]

"I'm so, so sorry, Chim.." Taehyung apologized with the most guilty look on his face as he started cleaning up the picnic and its remains.

I shook my head and smiled, "Don't be. This date was absolutely beautiful and just plain romantic. It's gonna be hard to top it for the next one."
  
His eyes suddenly lit up and he looked at me with the happiest expression I've ever seen, "Next one?"

I sighed through my nose and playfully punched his shoulder, "Of course, you dumb-dumb.. Now go to your dad. I'm sure it's pretty important if he had to call you so suddenly."
 
He nodded sadly and gave me a small peck on my forehead, caressing my cheek softly, "Bye."

My eyes connected with his brown ones, "Bye-Bye."

He walked away and went down the staircase, leaving me alone on the roof with loud honking and the now blazing sun. 

"What to do now, chim?" I asked myself with a small pout on my face, putting my hands on my hips.

I thought long and hard about my plans for today.

Haha.. long and hard. That's what they said.

Back on the topic. It's too early to do anything really..

I then reminisced about the events from last night and how they did not end on a good note.

I did kinda blow up at Jin and everyone else..
 
"Aha!" I exclaimed and immediately rushed down the stairs, knowing what my plans were for the day, "Jin'll be plenty happy to see me."

Yo I just noticed something.

Whenever you go through a rejection or a breakup, you start not liking yourself and thinking that the situation turned out however it turned out because of you. 😪

So if you're going through something like that, just know, I love you.

Don't let someone else dictate if you are worthy of love, or if you're beautiful. No.

You are worthy. You are beautiful.
