"So what's he doing now?" I asked as I tenderly picked at the cuticles of my nails, holding the phone in between my shoulder and my ear so I could concentrate.

"He's currently idly talking with his omega lover in the ghetto slums of the cities,"

The words of my subordinate on the other line made me scoff in disbelief, "Really now? That Jungkook would rather kill himself than even look at an omega,"

"I'm telling the truth, sir, I'm looking into the house right now," my subordinate replied with a tone urging me to believe his words, "They seem to be eating breakfast together as well."

I was silent as he described various things to me, like the type of breakfast they had, the address of the omega, the color and type of the house.

"Would you like me to go inside and retrieve him, sir?"

I shook my head slightly at his request, "No, just leave him alone, I'll just get him when I need him,"

I hung up the phone and tossed it next to me, focusing all of my attention on my cuticles.

"Sir, the press conference will be starting in thirty minutes," said my driver in the front, not looking at me but continuing to drive.

I sighed, "Okay, let's go then,"

I stepped off of the airplane and onto the tall, mobile flight of stairs that was positioned solely for Lisa and I. Taking in a deep breath of the cool, American air, I  could feel a smile from on my cheeks from the reassurance it gave me.

"Stop that, oppa, you look like a creep," Lisa said from beside me, her yellowish sunglasses sitting on the bridge of her nose as she loosely held her expensive purse over her shoulder. After that, I watched as she gracefully walked down the steps of the stairs until her heels clicked on the concrete of the plane landing. She turned towards me, looking up with a blank face, "Are you gonna come down or are you just gonna sniff the air for another hour or so? Cause' I'll wait,"

I held back my venomous tongue and quietly ascended down the white stairs to stand next to her, her jaw moving rhythmically as she chewed on some mint gum, the scent strong.

"Alright, let's go," she walked off, her hips swaying effeminately as she began to walk towards the building that I assumed was the airport where a car would be waiting on us.

Thirty minutes before the plane landed, Lisa went to the restroom in sweats and a regular shirt but came out in a blue and white striped button up that fit her loosely and white shorts, the outfit fitting the warm and slightly humid weather of the States.

I felt slightly ashamed at my outfit that consisted black sweatpants and a white T-shirt that Lisa oh-so-generously lent me since she didn't want me walking around the airport with a hospital gown on

I felt slightly ashamed at my outfit that consisted black sweatpants and a white T-shirt that Lisa oh-so-generously lent me since she didn't want me walking around the airport with a hospital gown on.

Lisa began skipping and spinning around the large empty space of the plane landing, her chocolate brown hair phlegmatically following after her. She turned towards me and began walking backwards with a grand smile on her face as she held her purse behind her, her childlike actions contradicting against her earlier, more mature ones.

"Are your legs okay now?" She asked as she began to skip backwards, showing off her immense and calculated coordination.

I nodded with a small grin, grateful to Luna that I have the usage of my legs once again. Lisa and I spent about four hours on the plane just massaging the sore muscles of my thighs and calves. I could start to get feeling in the limbs after three hours of massaging but since Lisa was such a goddess as massages, I didn't say anything until an hour later.

She giggled as she skipped into the doors of the airport, two lines of people in black suits making a straight path for Lisa and I towards the exit of the airport.

"Where are we?" I asked as we approached a black limo in which a man opened the door for the both of us.

"The United States, you doofus," she replied as we scooted into the limo, my face turning sour at the last part. She looked at me with a sheepish smile, "oppa, I mean,"

I nodded, satisfied, "Like what state, you never actually told me,"

She looked out the window and I could see her toothy smile in the reflection, "California, we're in the beautiful state of California,"

My eyes stopped focusing on her reflection and more of the beautiful palm trees and beaches that was right beside the airport. I looked in astonishment, the ocean water which was clearer than the water I drank. I smiled in astonishment and pulled out the phone Lisa provided me from my back pocket, snapping a quick picture of the gorgeous view. I looked through my gallery to see the exact scene in front of me on the tiny little screen and smiled, "Oh Luna, Jimin is gonna love this,"

I looked up to Lisa, "He loves things like this, especially when—" then it hit me.

"Oh," Sinking back into my chair, my face went blank of any emotion as I remember at how just a few days ago, I was screaming my lungs out at him.

Lisa set her slender hand on my lower thigh, a worried expression on her face, "Jimin?"

I shook my head and looked away from her, "Nah, I don't wanna talk about it,"

Her head tilted to the side in confusion, "Why not?"

I inwardly scoffed at her lack of sensitivity and common sense. My mind drifted back to the night I drove off of the bridge and how Jungkook's arms held Jimin so tightly... how they almost lovingly told each other that they loved each other but were horribly interrupted by me. It hurt. It hurt a lot.

"Because he doesn't want anything to do with me,"

[author's notes]

Aren't you guys proud of me? Ive been continuously updating for y'all every day haha.

Ive been pushing towards two chapters a day, but its kind of impossible since I've got so many things to do and one chapter takes a little more than an hour to write (not counting the thinking part haha).

I'm really praying I can finish this book before January is over.
