When school ended,
I always walked home with a friend I’ve known since kindergarten.
She was always bubbly and liked to smile.
I enjoyed her company every day.
She was pestering me about the boy I liked,
since I said something about him a few weeks ago.
Well, I felt like I could trust her with a secret,
so I told her.
“I knew it!” my friend said in a loud voice. “I knew you liked Hatori-kun!”
“Shhh, keep it down!”
“Aiko and Hatori, sitting on a tree~”
“Stop! I mean it!”
I was embarrassed beyond words.
There was a girl a couple of years younger than us that heard.
