“Wait, I already said all the names,” Hatori was visibly confused.
Both Akimoto and I started to laugh.
“Ah, you actually already said his name.
But Aiko needs to give me the OK to say yes!” said Akimoto.
Really, all Akimoto does is play around.
But that’s why he’s fun to be with.
“What? Psh, then I didn’t have to do all that,” Hatori-kun looked defeated.
“You don’t have to know, geez!” I said, trying to match the atmosphere.
“Come on, tell me” he smiled, his hands in a prayer-like position, playfully begging me.
“It doesn’t matter anymore,” I said.
“If it doesn’t matter then why not just tell me?”
“But I’m not going to tell you,”
“Please?” he kept begging.
“Ho ho? What’s this Hatori? Why are you so interested in who Aiko likes?” teased Akimoto.
“What? No, not really” Hatori looked away, I spotted a subtle blush. “Urusai Akimoto.”
Just then, the teacher came to start our Math class.
For once I’m glad that we’re having class right now.
That was too awkward! Akimoto makes it too awkward.
