“H…Hato…” that whisper was a but too inaudible.
“Eh? Who?” Kurosawa pushed.
“Hatori…kun”
Now I’ve done it. I actually told him.
“Hmm, no wonder. But I kind of knew,” he said.
Akimoto said the same thing!
“Wait, is it that obvious? But I’m trying really hard to hide this,”
“I told you, lying’s not your best quality. You’re just not that good with that sort of thing,”
“Wait hold on, you talked to him! Does he… I mean, maybe---“
Even I didn’t know what I was trying to say.
Kurosawa was silent this time.
Ah, maybe I went too far?
I shouldn’t have asked him about Hatori.
“Sorry,” I said, lowering my head for being inconsiderate.
“I don’t know what Hatori’s deal is,
but if you like him you should tell him.”
Of course I’ve thought about that.
But… why do you need to tell someone you like them?
Why did people do that? I’ve always wondered.
