Out in the hallway was Akimoto-kun and Koharu-chan.
It was a confession!
Koharu was beet red,
her head slightly shifted downwards.
Akimoto had traces of blushing,
but he was trying to play it off and kept looking away,
saying everyone around them were annoyingly noisy.
“And I’m not joking this time,” Akimoto said,
which promoted some more loud cheers from everyone.
“Eeeh?” it was Hatori-kun behind me.
“So even Akimoto has the balls to do that kind of thing,” he looked genuinely amused.
I didn’t say anything as I was anticipating what would happen next.
Would Koharu say yes,
or would it become awkward and she’d say no?
After a couple more deliberation on her part,
her head slowly bobbed up and down.
Akimoto’s face lit up,
as if he couldn’t contain his happiness.
