A new year, a new spring breeze,
a new uniform, and a new school.
Middle school had just begun.
This year for sure,
I was determined to confess to Hatori-kun.
We’ve been talking quite a lot,
to the point where everyone wondered if we were together.
Of course we both denied all those questions,
and simply said we were friends.
But the more they teased,
the more I wanted it to be true.
During break,
I hang out with Michiyo-chan and the others.
Hatori-kun goes out with his friends.
Sometimes when we pass by each other,
our eyes would secretly meet…
