When I arrived at the shrine, Hatori was fairly easy to spot.
He wore a plain white V-neck topped with a blue washed out sweater,
his sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
He then paired it with beige knee pants and dark brown boat shoes.
Frankly speaking, he looked more fabulous than I did.
Granted I haven’t seen him dress up the three years I’ve known him.
I felt attracted again, somewhat even magnetized,
but the pain had already subsided a bit,
and it didn’t hurt as much anymore.
Geez Aiko, that was fast.
“Hey!” he called out after noticing me.
He waved his hand, moving away from the red pole his back was leaning on.
I walked up to him slowly and smiled a little.
He gave me a gentle smile.
Then he did something that I was utterly shocked about,
he held out his hand,
his face slightly turned away.
The lights reflected a bit on his pink cheeks.
Hold on, I know what this is.
Did he want us to… hold hands?
