“Maji de?! Damn, I missed it. It’s cause Kyou wanted to go to the roof!”
Nakashima was referring to Michishige, he kind of likes to call everyone by their first names.
“What? You said you wanted some air,” Michishige fought back.
“Didn’t Akimoto-kun say he was going to go home with Koharu today?” I added,
extremely glad that I remembered talking to Akimoto just moments ago.
I didn’t want to make it seem like I was acting out of sorts.
“That guy, he confessed without even telling us!” Nakashima looked a bit upset,
maybe because he didn’t have his bro talk with Akimoto.
“Well he told me he’d confess today!” I kind of bragged.
“What, really?! Geez, I’m gonna give him a handful later.”
“Make that two handfuls,” Michishige added.
This was when everyone decided they’d go to the ice cream shop.
I told them I had something else to do so I couldn’t join in.
When everyone left, I took a deep breath.
I grabbed my bag, and made my way to that spot.
