habang magkahawak ang kamay naming dalawa ay nakahawak ang isang kamay ko sa kamay ni Austin. At nakahawak ang kamay ni ate sa kamay ni kuya travs. Is this for real?! I’m giving birth to my second child! When I say second child. It is my second! I know I’m not making any sense here but tangina masakit.

“more push mrs. Salvador” parehong sabi ng dalawang doctora sa harap namin. Hindi ko na kaya! And to tell you something. I am a married woman who’s giving birth to my second child! Yes I am married! Right after the year when kuya is married. Austin planned our surprise wedding. Wtf is that wedding! Why am I narrating it when I’m dying in pain. Sht.

“here it goes.” Sabi ng doctora ko. habang si ate ay namimilipit sa sakit. Maybe its easy for me to give birth because it’s my second. Wait who the fck says na madali ang panganganak?! Kahit kalian hindi naging easy to!

“looks like we have a very handsome baby boy here” nagulat ako sa narinig ko. i-it’s a boy. Austin never wanted me to have a check up para malaman ang gender ng baby namin. He always wants surprises. And this one surprised me. Unti unting napabitaw si Austin sa kamay ko at napasuntok sa hangin. Para bang wala syang pakielam kahit nangangak padin si ate nads at kinakabahan si kuya wala syang pakielam kahit na may mga doctor sa paligid.

“sa wakas! May magdadala nadin ng apelido ko. d-doc pwede ko po bang hawakan?”

he looks so happy. And to surprise me even more. Hindi ako nawalan ng malay. Because as far as I can remember. The first time I gave birth eh halos malagutan na ko ng hininga! Nang mahawakan nya ang sanggol ay bakas sa mukha nya ang kasiyahan. Until I heard something

“it’s a baby girl” I looked at ate nads na nawalan ng malay. But I can see the sparkles on kuya’s eyes. Then I just heard myself. Murmuring something.

“g-gun” Austin looked at me.

“aaeron” he smiled at me.

“gun aaeron smith” then I heard kuya said a name.

“ginnelle.” What an angelic name.

“ginnelle kate delos santos” kuya looked at me with disbelief.

“yes kuya. You’re now a father.” Alam kong sa ngiti nya palang masaya na sya. para akong nanganak ng kamabal dahil sa sayang nararamdaman ko.
