chapter 44

Anonymous POV

I have been watching her carefully, extremely carefully. Lurking in the shadows, hidden by its cloak of darkness. She hasn't seen me. She wont see me. Not yet. Not until it is time.

It had only be recently when I had found out where she came from. What she had done.

If I cant have her..... no one can.

Jaylies POV

I start to have a panic attack. Someone knows. But I don't know who! I dont understand what I have done to whoever this person is.

I sit on my unmade bed and begin to cry. The freshly applied makeup running down my face.

How could anyone do this!

"Jaylie?" I hear a knock on the door.

"Just a sec" I say in my best i-havent-been-crying voice.

I sniffle and quickly clean up myself.

"Come in" I say.

Harry enters with an apple in one hand and pineapple in the other. He tosses the apple up expecting to catch it, but as soon as he saw me both the fruits fall to the floor. He closes the door and is quick to my side.

"Whats wrong love?" he tries to soothe me.

I show him the text message and start to bawling again.

He doesn't say anything. I almost didn't hear the vibrate from the phone. I look over and see him tense up. I try to take the phone from him but he holds it away.

"Its nothing" he says.

"Harry let me see" I sniffle.

He tries to keep it out of reach but im too quick. I quickly grab the phone and read the message.

17 Sicamore st

Be there or else

i cover my mouth and I begin to hyperventilate.

"Jaylie calm down, it will be alright" he coos.

I couldn't stop, it began to become a struggle to even breathe.

"Jaylie" Harry yells and grabs my face bringing it close to his. "Calm down"

I look at him and slowly the struggle ceases to exist.

"What do I do?" I say once im calm.

"Nothing" he replies.

"He has something against me, why not?" I question.

"Because he's gonna be too broken to even think about you" he states.

"What are you thinking?"

"Im thinking that whoever this is, is in a world of hurt"
