After my conversation with Mama and Kaandy, I went to find Daddy. He was in the garage, along with Ken. When did he get here?
"Hey you guys." I said.
"Hey baby girl."
"Hey Kimmy."
I sat down in a corner. "What are you guys doing?" I asked.
"We're talking about the restaurant expansion." Ken said.
"So what brings you down here with us?" Daddy asked.
I took a deep breath.
"Daddy, we need to talk." I said.
Ken got up. "I'll leave you two alone." Then he left.
"What do we need to talk about hon?"
"I got into a fight at the restaurant." I said.
There was a long pause.
"So, who caused you to get upset?"
"Suzanne."
"The Suzanne that wrecked your car Suzanne?"
"Yes sir."
Daddy sighed. "I figured it wasn't gonna be long before you two got into a fight. I just wish it didn't happen at the restaurant."
"I'm sorry Daddy."
"I know you didn't mean for it to happen. What was the fight about?"
"Suzanne was talking about Kaandy saying she a hoe and all that shit. So I put her in her place and I guess she got mad."
One thing about Daddy, he doesn't care if we cuss, as long as we don't do it a lot.
"I see now. So you were defending Kaandy?"
