{Narrator's POV}

"The hell do you mean 'More grim'?!" (y/n) said, her worrying turning into anger and confusion. John stared at her and Drift with a guilty expression.

"You're both stuck in here.." He started, (y/n) only getting more tense and angered.

"You're both stuck in here because of time and space. You are I'm a wormhole, a loop if you want to call it that, stuck between the rifts and real life." John said, Drift and (y/n) becoming pale.

"It's.. I know it's something you didn't want to hear, but that's the grim reality."

Raptor nodded, Carbide too.

"We wanted to explain it as much as we could, but it wasn't easy, and we knew that. I'm so sorry we didn't explain sooner." Raptor butted in, frowning under his mask.

(y/n) and Drift looked at each other. "So we're basically stuck in here because time and space? Which means we're NEVER leaving?"

John and Raptor nodded. (y/n) face becoming more ghostly white, she clutched her stomach, raising her mask.

"I think I'm going to be sick.."

Drift rubbed her back and she threw up over the floor, her stomach acid being the only substance coming out.

(y/n) rubbed her mouth, clutching onto Drift's jacket, the tears forming.

"I just want to go home.."

Drift looked down on the female and held her tighter.

"Me too, (y/n), me too."

The two men stared at them, both frowning, the pity and guilt they have. (y/n) shot a weak glance at them both, she grew weaker and weaker holding on to Drift's jacket.

"Can't we do something..?" She questioned in disparity, her voice cracking.

"Please, I don't think I can handle this anymore, from almost being 'game ended', to knowing I'm stuck here due to the crack in time and space."

Drift rubbed her shoulder, then moved towards John and Raptor.

"As much as I don't want to be here. We need to accept the fact that we're stuck until the crack in time and space fixes itself, sending us back to California, to earth."

(y/n) nodded, moving her mask back down onto her lower face.

Carbide walked down to the mess, looking at the two teens and men in confusion. John dismissed it, motioning Drift and (y/n) to go back up stairs.

They nodded, walking towards their rooms and not saying a single word anymore. John pounded his fist on the metal stands, mumbling curse words.

"It's not much we can do Wick, Omega and Oblivion only know what's going on. It's not like we can ask them."

Carbide butted in. "They hate us, we can't even bat an eye at them without the fear of being game ended.

"You're right, you're right. I just.. FUCK!" John yelled in frustration, Raptor frowning.

"How about we make them go to Omega and Oblivion, they've been looking for the boy, once they see (y/n) with him they'll be sure to answer the questions."

"It's a good idea, but they might-"

"No, John. They WON'T get game ended. I know it, we can follow close behind and watch." Raptor cut John off, reassuring him.

John sighed and leaned against the caves railing.

"I suppose we can give it a shot."

Raptor smiled, Looking at his map and then placing a marker on their desired location.
