{Your POV}

"I don't understand, what do you mean?" I asked, what even was it that Oblivion and Omega had to say to me? It's as if I was being lied to all this time.

Wait.. what if I WAS being lied to?

Oblivion looked at me with a tint of guilt, though the female was covered in metallic armor head to toe, I could tell by the way her body moved.

Sounds stupid, I know. But body language says a lot.

At least to me.

"Well.." She started, I raised my brow at her. She seemed distraught and looking for something to help her, but nothing seemed to catch her eye.

"What exactly is the 'truth' you're going on about, Oblivion?" I asked, my question seemed more of a short and angered demand than it sounding worrying.

She looked at Omega and he nodded. She stood from her seat and looked toward what seemed to be Omega, though her mask is covering her eyes and face alone.

I'm wondering if she'll take it off.

Though she seems self conscious, or from last times events it's as if she doesn't want to take it off and show her true identity.

I've seen her face, she really has nothing to worry about, no one would even believe that a teen is behind the mask and armor.

Would they? No. Most likely not.

Oblivion finally clenched her armored fists and seemingly made contact with me.

Ah no, this shit might be extremely fucked over..

"(y/n)." She said coldly, her blank stare sent the unwanted shivers down my spine.

"Yes..?" I answered, I dare not interrupt or make her angry, she seems ready to game end me without hesitation.

Why does she scare me so much? Is it the armor? Would I feel less threatened if she took the mask off? Lord, I don't even think her taking that damned thing off would do any better.

She had the cold stare even when she had that damn thing off.

"I think it's plainly obvious as to what I'm going to explain. There's not really anything else to describe in a situation like this." She started.

"But. I think I've hidden more and more into the shadows that shouldn't have been, the more I've hidden it, the more I've become agitated at the thought I wouldn't find you, or Drift."

God that name. I can't even begin to fathom his name being said around me. Not after that little stunt he pulled off a couple days ago.

Was it EVEN a couple days ago? Fuck. I can't remember.

"Are you even listening?" Oblivion snapped her fingers in my face, snapping me out of the unwanted thoughts. I nodded as in yes and she sighed, backing away and continuing.

"Well, it's not even right to hide things in the dark. Especially since you've been sucked into here by my crack in time and space."

I tilted my head and put one hand against my raw cheek.

Seems like something fucked my cheek up for it to feel extremely tender.

I'm starting to wonder if they tortured me in my sleep..

"Stop touching your cheek. You'll cause it to become more tender." Oblivion grabbed my hand and set it softly on the armrest.

"Since when did you care about my wellbeing?" I asked, the anger being noticeable. She shrugged at my comment and turned away.
