{Narrator's POV}

Drift walked around Paradise Palms, watching as some people drove by in their ATK's and some walking around the strangely lively part of the island.

"This place seems to be more energetic than Tilted Towers.."

"That's because it IS!"

Drift stopped, he slowly turned around and saw a short female, her hair in high green pigtails and her seemingly candy coated clothes.

"Who.. who are you?" Drift asked, his brow raised in confusion.

"Hi there! The name's Zoey, and you are?" Zoey asked, extending a hand out to Drift.

"Uh.. Drift." He shook her hand, she smiled brightly and basically dragged him around the place.

"Hiya Drift! Since you seem new here, I'll show you around the place, we can be friends, yes?"

Drift looked around and then sighed. "I suppose so."

"Great! Let's get started, shall we?" She smiled, Drift have a weak smile back and nodded his head.

"So, tell me. Why're you here in Paradise Palms?" Zoey asked, her curiousness getting to the best of her. Drift shrugged and looked around the area.

"I needed to get away from something for a bit. I just walked around until I came here."

She frowned. "What happened that you needed to get away from everything?"

"Just some conflict. I'm not from here, I wanted to go and get some answers to better help me and a friend but she snapped at me saying I'm the reason she's stuck here, and it really set me off because I was the reason she didn't get game ended, and other bullshit in this cartoon world."

Zoey looked at him with wide eyes, she looked around and leaned into Drift.

"You're from earth too..?"

Drift looked at her with an unsettled facial expression, she pressed a finger against his lips and continued to look around.

"Not here, come with me." She motioned, Drift followed and watched as a couple of no-skins were staring at them both.

Once they got to a safe distance, Zoey sighed and laid it all out.

"My real name is Dan, I was sucked into this world during season four. I don't know how, but it just happened."

Drift looked baffled, she chuckled softly and continued.

"I've been stuck here without explanation, Omega seemed to show up too, It's as if they're sucking in people from earth into this cartoon game."

"But this doesn't make sense, how is it that YOU didn't go back to where ever you were?" Drift asked, Zoey looked at him and shrugged.

"I never got the answers I needed. It just seems like the worlds collided for a short period of time until it finally closed up. Last season seemed like a whole movie."

"That explains it. I went to Oblivion and Omega not too long ago, they both said they had no idea why this whole thing is going on."

Zoey furrowed her brow at Drift. "Oblivion?"

"Yeah, she explained the whole rocket and the time and space thing." Drift answered, he looked at Zoey, confused.

"Why?"

"Oblivion.. She reminds of a friend of mine, her nickname is 'moo'." Zoey said, Drift looked at her and she continued.

"Moo always had her name as Oblivion, from her psn, to her Discord name, it was all she had. I'm wondering if she was my friend but I'm too afraid to go up and ask. After all, isn't she evil, now?"

Drift rubbed the back of his head. "I don't think so? She seemed pretty down to earth to me."

Zoey sighed a breath of relief. "Good. I just hope it doesn't go to her head."

The two talked about it more, then, Raptor finally came into view.

"Drifty! Thank god I found you-" he stopped and looked at Zoey, she tensed up and stared at him.

"Who's this?" He asked, looking at Drift.

"This is Zoey, she's like me and (y/n)." He explained, Raptor looked at Zoey then back at Drift.

"Ah, so, Zoey. Do you want to come along with us so we can help YOU get back home?

"No thank you. I love it here, but I appreciate the offer." Zoey smiled, she stood up and waved at the two.

"It was great meeting you Drift! Tell (y/n) I said hello, oh and don't forget about the, thing, we addressed." she said, walking away.

Raptor looked at Drift and raised a brow under his mask. "What was that about?"

"Don't mind it, Raptor, I'll explain it when we're back at the HQ." Drift said, getting up himself and started to walk down the desert road.

There's A LOT of things that need to be discussed.
