{Narrator's POV}

"So.. Omega and Oblivion. Aren't they.."

"Sort of evil in this cartoon world? Pretty much."

Drift looked confused at John and Raptor, (y/n) exchanging the same look. The two men stared at each other and sighed.

"Yeah. This place has its quirks."

"More like problems.."

"I heard that, Drift."

(y/n) snickered, Drift shoved her lightly. John facepalmed and pulled out a map of the world, showing Snobby Shores and the mountains surrounding it.

"See this mountain adjacent to the far right house?" John asked, the two teens nodded and he continued.

"That's where those two are staying at. It's some big base that launched the rocket. If you two can go there and explain EVERYTHING, maybe they'll give you a proper explanation of why you're here."

(y/n) rubbed her chin, staring at the map.

"So.. we have to go alone?"

"Well.." Raptor chimed in. "You'll be up a little ways, me and the guys will be a far distance. That way we can be there if this whole thing goes south."

Carbide nodded. "We don't know what they're actually going to do, it would be better if we followed close behind. Those two are unpredictable."

"They are..? But-" Drift started, but John stopped him.

"They can game end you both. We just don't know what they're capable of." He said, (y/n) backing away and shaking her head.

"No, I will NOT go through that shit again!"

Raptor walked up to her, but she swatted him away. "Go away, you can't make me do this!!"

"(y/n), please. Relax, we DON'T know what those two will do. Just try with Drift."

Drift looked at (y/n) worryingly, she watched as the four guys stared at her in confusion and worry.

"What exactly happened, (y/n)?" Carbide asked, John and Raptor stared at each other with guilty expressions.

"Well-"

"Me and John planned to keep them alone and see how well they'd do against Burnout and Skull Trooper. We wanted ST to down her and then Drift would take those two out."

"Mhm.."

"And we took it too far. But we can't explain that, we need to get these two to Oblivion and Omega."

Drift shrugged and grabbed his map, marking Snobby Shores.

"I guess we should leave now?" He asked, watching (y/n) hug herself tightly. John sighed and walked to her, slowly grabbing her by the hand.

"Come on (y/n). I promise that me, John, AND Carbide will be behind." He reassured (y/n).

She looked at Raptor and Carbide for clarification, the two nodded at her and she sighed.

"Okay. I guess I'll do it."

"Don't forget, Drift is next to you every step of the way." Raptor jumped in, (y/n) looked at up him and he smiled.

Drift and (y/n) walked around Salty, looking around the houses for any sort of loot.

"You'd think this place would be bustling, I'm surprised it's not even like that." Drift said, lifting some debris up. (y/n) shrugged and looked towards the ravine.
