"Arabella? Are you okay in there?"
I opened my eyes, squinting at the light. I groaned at the pain in my neck, seeing that I fell asleep against the bathtub, letters in my lap.
"Darling, are you alright?" Harry asked from outside the door.
I immediately panicked, reaching over and switching on the bath, the letters scattering across the floor. "Uh, yeah, I'm just having a quick shower!"
"Are you sure you're alright? Do you need anything?"
"No, I'm fine, thanks." I said to him, picking up the letters and putting them into their box before shoving it into the bathroom closet.
I took a quick shower, wrapping the towel around my body before heading into the kitchen, where I knew Harry had my coffee ready.
"Hey, babe," I called to Harry. "Have you seen my blue hoodie? You know, the big one with the-"
"Bell."
I looked over at the couch, seeing Luke sat on it, Harry in the kitchen. I was so startled I almost dropped my towel, stepping back in shock.
"Luke," I said, breathing heavily. "Holy fuck, you scared me."
"Can I talk to you about something?" Luke quickly said, standing and shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Uhh," I said glancing at Harry. "I don't think now is a good time."
"Come on," he frowned. "Five minutes, I need to apologize."
I didn't want him to say anything else about showing up last night because then Harry would question it and I didn't feel like explaining why my ex-boyfriend was at my door at 3am with current boyfriend asleep in my bed.
"Yeah, okay," I said. "Let me get dressed."
"The hoodie's probably in the dryer," Luke said as I turned around. "Sorry-my hoodie's probably in the dryer, that's where you always leave things."
I saw Harry shift, causing me to roll my eyes. I ignored Luke, going into the laundry room, changing into a pair of shorts and a tee shirt.
I went into the kitchen, where Harry stood with my coffee on the counter, iced and ready for me.
He still stood leaning against the counter, his arms crossed over his chest. I took a sip of the coffee and sent him a goofy smile, making him chuckle and laugh.
I stood on my toes and pressed a quick kiss to his lips. He stuck out his bottom lip in a pout when I pulled back which just made me roll my eyes and press a kiss to his neck.
"I'm sorry, H." I said quietly into his ear, pressing another kiss to the base of his neck before pulling away from the embrace.
I turned around just to find Luke looking over his shoulder right at us. I cleared my throat before going over to him.
"I'm going to take a shower." Harry said, patting my bum before going into the bathroom, giving us our privacy.
I sat down on the chair across the room from Luke, looking up at him. "So, what's up?"
"I uh-I wanted to apologize about last night, I can't believe I did that," he said, running a hand through his hair. "I had been out drinking with the boys-fuck, I'm so sorry, Bell, I should have went home with them-"
"It's fine, Luke, really-"
"No, it's not," he said. "The things I said to you were completely unacceptable. I'm so sorry."
"Luke, really, it's fine, how many times have I knocked on your door piss drunk complaining about something?"
He chuckled, leaning back and sighing. "Plenty of times. I'm sorry, really, Bell."
"I forgive you," I nodded. "Just..don't show up here like that again, okay?"
"Of course."
"Also," he said, standing up. "That's still my shirt too, babe."
I looked down at my shirt, groaning at it. "Oh well, you shouldn't have left stuff over, it's mine now."
"It was yours in the first place."
We both stood, Luke opening his arms for a hug. I smiled gently, stepping into his arms and wrapping my arms around his waist. I set my head against his chest, feeling his heart beat against my ear. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders, setting his chin on top of my head.
Someone cleared their throat from behind me, I turned around and saw Harry standing there, clad in jeans and a black shirt, his hair dripping wet.
He dropped something onto the counter as my eyes widened and I pulled away from Luke's embrace.
The box that I kept both the letters Luke wrote me and the letters I've written him.
"Harry-"
"Luke, out now," Harry said, his voice low and deadly, his eyes on me. "We need to talk."
