Sebastian led Alison toward the bedroom. The unpleasant surprises of the past few days had left him stressed, thwarting his plans to relax, so he resolved to make the most of the free time that he had...he felt like he had years to make up for. So did she.
He entered the bathroom, turned on the shower, allowing the water to get quite warm, then returned to help her get undressed, not that she needed the assistance, but because he wanted to. He was now in a position to spoil her and he promised himself that this is what he was going to do...perhaps they could travel; he felt that he'd been everywhere imaginable, but with her, everything might feel brand new again.
He led her to the shower and he removed his clothing and joined her. Once finding her shampoo, he worked the rich lather into her long hair and he sighed contentedly as she leaned into him, feeling her arms wrap around his waist and her cheek resting on his chest.
He rinsed her hair and squeezed out her conditioner onto the palm of his hand and fingered it through her tresses, eliciting a contented sigh from her...he had not forgotten that the way to relax this girl was to play with her hair. He poured her bath gel onto the sea sponge she had brought from home, smelling the coconut scent and smiled, having been reminded of her dreams of traveling the world and wondered if she'd been able to do that; if not, he'd fix it. He realized that she hadn't changed all that much...all the little things that he loved about her were still the same and his smile grew all the more. He smoothed the gelled soap along her skin, not forgetting a very long late night discussion they had once over a bottle of wine about the skin and the brain being the two most sensual organs of the human body.
Alison reached for the shampoo, hoping that he wouldn't mind smelling like a coconut and he lowered his head and squeezed his eyes closed...he wasn't used to allowing anyone to tend to him and she stopped and looked up at him, her hands and arms having returned to her side.
"You have to trust me, Bastian," she said in a low voice.
"I trust you Love," he said.
She shook her head and poked at his chest with her finger. "God will get ya for lyin' you know?"
He laughed and took her dainty hands in his and plopped them on top of his lowered head. She chuckled, taking that as her cue to continue to run her soapy fingers gently through his slightly tangled hair, her nails scraping at his scalp, removing the sweat and canine dander that she thought she had seen at his scalp. The incident with Alexis had frightened him...why exactly, she wasn't sure, and until such a time that he would tell her, if he'd ever tell her, all she could do was guess. Her slender fingers moved down his body and he leaned on the cool tile wall of the shower. She poured the shower gel into her hands and worked it all over his skin with her bare hands. Her fingers reached at his hips and she guided him to lean on the tiles so that she could wash the back of his body.
He felt her lips gliding along his clean skin, leaving a trail of tiny kisses in her wake, her fingers splaying on his back, lowering toward his rear. She gave a quick squeeze then knelt at his feet and bent his knees to get the bottom of his feet and she wondered if he had been getting pedicures done...his feet were in amazing shape...better than hers...and she prided herself on the condition of her feet; she spent most of her time on them and they had to be in good shape.
He turned to face her and she stood and looked down, then smiled and pointed. "Is that for me?"
His face was frozen in a perpetual smile and somehow, he smiled brighter, nodding his head. "Mmhmm."
She smiled leaning against him. "Hmm..."
The shower spray was losing heat and he moved to stand beneath it. Allowing the water to cascade down his body, he closed his eyes feeling her the warmth of her body mingling with the cooling water. Feeling her arms wrapping around him, he circled his around her and held her close, sighing contentedly.
