Sebastian placed his hand on a door and opened it. Turning on the lights, he saw that the room was exactly as he left it. "Get your gear," he said. He removed his tee shirt and placed his arms through a series of leather straps that were attached to six scabbards of three different sizes. James removed his gloves from his locker and Sebastian tossed the Interceptor Multi-threat Body Armor System jacket to him. "Put it on. Don't argue."

James' shoulders fell.

"If something happens to you, I won't have to worry about the enemy. Your mother will kill me," Sebastian offered. "And she promised that she wouldn't be at all nice about it."

Topher nodded. "True story. I was there when she said it." He looked toward Sarah who was chuckling as he tossed over the jacket that had been custom-made for her. "You too, Missy."

"Ah fuck," she groaned watching it fly in mid air toward her, causing James to snicker. He walked up next to her and handed her quiver to her as well as a pouch full of medicinal vials. She watched him as he withdrew a pouch for himself and two more, one for Topher and one for his father, who was already heading out the door. He opened another small drawer and withdrew a handful of vials containing salted holy water, then stuffed them into his pockets.

Sarah and Sebastian transformed immediately upon completing the emergence while Topher and James secured the front yard of fallen bodies of the unsuspecting Evil Doers. They watched both canines head in different directions, effectively circling the house. James heard Rajah's frightened cries and he ran around the back of the house to see Wolf stalking toward a lone female figure, holding out her wand in the direction of the horse. Wolf was almost upon her when he saw what she was holding...a lone man with a scimitar, intent on killing the horse.

"James, kindly see if there's anyone else lurking about please?"

"Lynn? What the hell!"

"Don't make me look at you honey, because if I do, Rajah is as good as dog food and that won't sit well with your Momma. Okay? Please do as I say?"

Sebastian transformed behind her and moved closer to her, pointing his wand toward her throat.

"Hey there, Sebastian! Do me a favor honey, will ya? See if you can get that sword thingy out of the ass hat's hands please?" She shook her head. "My eyes are gettin' real tired..."

James whistled. It was the same sound that he'd heard his mother do time and time again. The animal's ears flattened, although his body was poised for flight, the animal refused to move.

"Better yet...James, see if you can move Rajah out of the way, okay? I wanna see the look on that man's face when he goes up against the Lone Wolf..."

James transfigured a lead rope from a blade of grass and approached the frightened animal. He had to use his weight to push Rajah over a few inches so that he could safely remove him from the scimitar's trajectory.

"Why are you helping us? Aren't you the Widow's Oracle," Sebastian whispered.

She nodded, her watery eyes shining. "Uh huh. Didn't ask for it though, did I?"

"Didn't you?"

She turned her head and looked up into his green eyes. "Are you fucking kidding me!" Only then, did she realized what her vision meant...it was her turn. "I'll be lucky to live through..."

Sebastian tried to pull her out of the blade's path but he wasn't fast enough; the blade came down and sliced into her flesh. Lynn looked down at her chest and belly, watching the red liquid stain her clothes dark red and pour from the blade's slice. Her body began it's split second descent to the ground when Sebastian heard a very loud thunderous boom. Debbie reached out her arms and caught and held onto her adopted sister before her body hit the ground.
