Sebastian sat on the interrogator's makeshift desk, his leg dangling, swinging back and forth as Topher and Smythe spoke to their former employee Peterson regarding the data breach. Topher informed him that he was able to confirm the loss of sensitive data for at least two years. This would translate to the E.Ds knowing about Alison's whereabouts for a year prior to the assassination attempt that resulted in the death of David McNaulty.

Sebastian could feel the arousal of the Hybrid within him and got up from the desk and walked over to the double pane glass where he knew that on the other side, his shareholders and his executive assistant were standing...Kimmy was there just to keep everyone honest.

The more ED rhetoric Sebastian listened to, the more aggressive he felt inside. He watched his own eyes turn amber-colored and felt his canines elongate in his mouth as his fists closed tightly, the claws jutting out from his hand causing his palms to bleed. Kimmy knocked on the glass and Topher glanced over his shoulder only to see Sebastian's reflection in the two way mirror and Smythe watched the blood drain from Topher's face. Smythe turned as well, and immediately halted the interview.

Topher stood slowly and approaching Sebastian, he made his presence known. "How about a smoke, mate? We can take a break if you want to. I know I could use one."

Topher watched Sebastian stiffen and turn quickly toward him. He watched his nostrils flare. He saw the drops of blood pooling on the tile floor.

"Come on mate...Come on, I'll go with you."

"No."

"Sebastian, you can't be here right now. Come with me please?"

Sebastian merely stared at him.

"Don't. Make. Me. Remove. You."

Topher could feel the extra heat being generated by the Hybrid that was quickly taking his best friend over.

Quickly, he circled his arms around Sebastian and emerged to the spacious office that Sebastian never worked in, and released him instantly as the Hybrid thrashed his entire body.

Seconds later, James emerged with Alison in tow.

She moved toward him and stood between him and his son.

"Careful Mum," James whispered.

"Ohhh, he's okay..." she reached out and tenderly touched his shoulder.

Sebastian glared at his wife. "Don't patronize me, Babe," he growled.

Alison stared hard at him. When she was face to face with the Hybrid before, it spoke to her with single word sentences, not full sentences sounding exactly like her first husband, who was quite dead.

Sebastian chuckled. "Yeah, what you're thinking?" He nodded. "Smart guy, the noob..."

"He was before you," she said quietly.

Topher and James's eyes met in confusion.

"Where's my baby girl?"

"At home..." she turned and attempted to move away, but she could feel it advancing on her.

"Well my dear, if you're here, then, who's with her," he asked with a horrific English accent that only David could do.

"They're fine, David. All my babies," she whispered. "They're all fine."

The Hybrid grinned and approached closer to her with a drunken swagger, his eyes running the length of her body appreciatively. "Sure about that?" He bellied right up to her and tilted his head to take in her scent.

"Positive," she whispered, not meeting his eyes with her own, but her fingers drumming on the fabric of her jeans, silently begging for some kind of assistance...Alison was visibly terrified. "David, you need to leave Sebastian alone."

"Nah. I don't think I will." He moved quickly to take hold of her arms and moved to emerge to another location just as Topher fired off a stun spell strong enough that it should have taken the Hybrid out and Alison watched him fall to his knees and she fell to hers before him.

"Mate," Sebastian muttered weakly as he panted for breath and shake his head. "Get. Out..."

Alison watched Sebastian's eyes roll backward just as his massive body tipped to the floor.

Seated in a chair next to their bed, she watched his eyes flutter as he came to. He moved to sit up and found that he was unable to move. "Is this really necessary?"

"I don't know? You tell me," she replied a little too calmly for his liking.

"What happened? My head feels like it's the size of a watermelon."

"I think Doctor David McNaulty happened."

"Come again?"

"And I think he's been with you for a very long time, as far as walk ins go, I mean."

"Why would he do that?"

"Restless?"

"And do restless spirits do that kind of thing?"

"Dunno. Not my area." She was instructed to remain in her chair and not move, but she really wanted to go to Sebastian and free him of his constraints. "Have you ever felt that before?"

He shook his head, then groaned. He turned his head and she watched the crease deepen between his eyes. "No, hang on...yeah. When MaryJo injected me with whatever the hell that rot was?"

"Venom from a brown recluse," she replied, reminding him.

He nodded. "Ah yeah." He turned his head to the side to gaze at her. "Please tell me that I didn't hurt you?"

She shook her head. "You didn't hurt me."

"Toph? Smythe, or anyone else?"

"We all managed to stay unscathed." She smiled. "James   said that the Hybrid we saw yesterday was a completely different persona that he saw before. Topher and Smythe agreed."

"James..."

She watched his eyes fill quickly and he turned his face away.

"Bastian? He's okay. The girls are okay. We're all okay. The only one who isn't okay is you."

"I need to speak to my father, he said quietly. "Please?"

Alison nodded her head, knowing that he couldn't see her. "He's just downstairs. I'll go get him..."

Sebastian lay restlessly on the bed, still trying magically shackled to the heavy four-poster bed. "Yes please...I'll be here all day..."

She stopped at the door and turned to face him. Then she did exactly what she was asked not to do: she approached him, knelt over and kissed his brow. "I'll see what I can do about getting you un-stuck. Okay?"

Still unable to look at her, he nodded and turned his head away again.
